Ever since observing some of the "all natural" and "organic" nuttiness that accompanied a portion of my childhoods experience, I've been ever skeptical of wonder cures. But it's looking more and more like they are really honest-to-God onto something big with revelations concerning vitamin D.
Here's another good article with lots of info.
Vitamin D Deficiency and Type 1 Diabetes

Richard,
I may very well be the reason your blog stats are going to the roof. I can’t seem to get enough. This is the first time I’ve written, but read almost every post and archive. Keep up the work. You are doing great things.
BTW, I’ve dropped 30 lbs in 4 months. Not quite six pack abs, but close a good 4 pack going now. Also, I could write a book on the number of health related issues that have simply disappeared.
I am very interested in the vitamin d and k2 suppliments. Unfortunately, I have some sort of problem taking synthetic vitamins and minerals. They leave me in a fog for some unknown reason. Apparently, I am not the only one. I’ve found several other people mentioning this on the internet, but no one seems to know why or have an answer.
Just curious if any of the other readers have heard of this and if they might know a reason. My only alternative for obtaining vit d seems to be to join a commercial tanning salon. Yeah, just me and 20 million 16 year old girls , right? Not exactly my preference.

Jeff:
You could get natural D from cod liver oil, only make sure the A is not too high. Carlson makes a super potency CLO that’s not too high in A.
Also, Green Pasture makes a centrifuged butter oil that has K2 in it.

Thanks for the response. I’m currently taking CLO, but not not the high potency. I’ll look into that as well as the centrifuged butter oil.
