Just witness the history of the United States. So maybe those in power in China have figured out that there&#039;s a happy medium where they can maintain their power, slowly give the people the illusion of growing freedom and a somewhat freer market, without having the baggage of an armed populace with a history of actually being free in the not-so-distant past.&lt;/p&gt;
