Accept paid advertising for products or serices I can't unequivocally stand behind.

Much to my surprise, I received an email the other day from a gentleman wishing to engage about a half dozen specific posts on this blog for paid advertising. I replied, asking that I'd be happy to discuss it, so long as it's a no-BS deal. I got the details today. It's not a lot of money, but it's not pennies, either. Problem is, the advertisements are in the diet, health area, and I can't support either of them. Email out:

However, I am very principled in my approach to diet, nutrition, exercise, etc. And, I can't support or advocate the products/services offered via the advertising links you sent, and so must regretfully decline your offer. If in the future you have occasion to advertise something you think I might be able to stand behind, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'll gladly take the time to review any such offer.
