Thanks readers, and especially, thanks for telling acquaintances, friends, family, and co-workers about Free the Animal. It's really making a difference; you're making a difference.

Interesting. I hadn't looked at that in a very long time.

Wow! So when are you going to post those photo updates of your progress?

  • Richard Nikoley

Good question. I was at 183, just on the verge of hitting the 180 for my next set, and then vacation set in and I came back — initially at like 188, but then by one day back, 186. So, those three pounds set me back perhaps a month, so it's looking like the end of March.

To speed things along, I've cut nearly all fruit, and am being pretty conservative on the vegetables. Also trying to wean from alcohol (not beer, hardly ever drink it), probably my major remaining obstacle to being 95% Paleo-like. On the other hand, I've learned to be patient in all this. The results always come, I try not to beat myself up over stages of weeks with little to no weight loss.

    It'll get done.

just want to commend you on your website.
I started following the eatSTOPeat or fasting lifestyle and just started doing the paleo diet.

    I've lost 9lbs in 14 days.
    Thats insane!!

    your awesome dude!

Thanks bigred, and we hope to be reading more of your progress. Introduce friends and family gently, once they see and inquire of your results.

your right about the 'introducing friends and family gently' part. I told my gf i was going to start fasting and she didn't like the idea at all.
The funny thing is that she may only eat one time a day sometimes.

And on the Paleo diet idea
People are so sold on the food pyramid and eating balanced that if you don't eat alot of carbs your an outcast. its wild!

  • Richard Nikoley

By your results shall they become convinced. One day, they'll believe it was they who came up with the idea. Watch for it.
