My ex-husband recently asked me for advice on losing weight and I was very happy to offer what I have learned, especially as he is bordering on Metabolic Disorder. <br /> It never works to preach unless the congregant comes to you willingly. It's so hard to watch people make mistakes, but it is loving and kind to hold your advice to yourself unless it has been asked for. <br /> You are blessed to have parents that love to learn, and they are blessed with a child that is a loving teacher!</p> It's such a gift when someone comes to you for help and you can share what you have learned. It never works to preach unless the congregant comes to you willingly. It's so hard to watch people make mistakes, but it is loving and kind to hold your advice to yourself unless it has been asked for.

Recently was asked by someone in my extended family how I have managed to lose my recent weight and what I was eating. I am so passionate about what I am learning through these networks and readings and have to stop myself from preaching to all and sundry. Have decided the best way to draw others in is to let them come to me because when they are asking they are usually ready to listen. And sometimes a prophet brings his mom through the pearly gates - Congrats, Richard, and thank you for sharing!
