So, did any of you come up with some tweaks after yesterday's read? I've receive one email with some good ideas.
That was really a good refresher for me, but I'm not going to tell you what I did yet. The reason is that I still have 9 hours to go on my 30-hr fast, a workout early this afternoon, followed by a "secret" technique, and I'm already down 5 full pounds from where I was when I began the fast.
I want to see where I end up. Then I'll post.

Did you restrict carbohydrates from your final meal before the fast?
Yep. In fact, both pre-fast meals (breakfast & lunch) had very minimal carbs. I'll post photos of both.
This is what I have been doing and I have had similar results. I tend to eat a bit of a higher carb breakfast though.
In addition, this week I have actually been using Martin's Leangains methodology, though I am not placing any particular emphasis on structuring meal composition. The 16/8 is interesting. though I'm not especially attached to it (or any writ-in-stone methodology).

you are pretty much in a ketotic state, utilizing fat burning mechanisms. am i correct or did i misunderstand? Are you 175 lbs now? If you are wow!
