I don’t feel like blogging. Not for days, and if anything, it’s worse now — to a point where if I indulge the fantasy of not blogging any longer, I’m fine with it. Must be the market, but then, I’m up significantly (so far: unrealized gains of about 15%) over the last couple of weeks.
I don’t know. It’s wearisome, at times.
I was thinking about a roundup this weekend of stuff I liked, but I didn’t even get to that. Alright, here’s two posts by the same guy which are about the best things out there in recent memory. Be surprised; they’re both from Beck.
Both speak to what I’m all about, and what that is transcends even the explicit philosophies I’m so intent on espousing here. That is, even if I held some stupid ideas, I’d probably still be the kind of guy who cheers on the best, encourages them to go for it, and harbors imaginations that we’re gonna be better off for all of it.
It’s what we do. You can’t really know your limits until you explore them.
Come to think of it: I’m sick to death of the can’t do mentality putrefying American culture and politics.
I hate it.
