Michael Miles, a faithful reader and commenter here and who maintains his own blog, Nutrition and Physical Regeneration, has graciously included Free the Animal amongst a really nice list of 10 Notable Blogs from 2009.
Of me and Free the Animal, Michael writes:
Yet when it comes to food and breaking down substantive technical information in an engaging and informative manner Richard is well worth the read. Is he rude sometimes? Yes. Does he say things the way I would say them? No, but one thing he has going for him is that he is a paleo who doesn’t think the “paleo way” is a dietary prescription thundered down from Mt. Sinai.
I’ll take it, as well as the other nice things he has to say. And thanks to all the readers who are making this and other nice mentions possible. And here’s a bit of additional news: Jimmy Moore is interviewing me on January 29 for his podacast show. I picked that date amongst his choices because it’s the day I turn 49 and ought to be good and disagreeable.
By the way, if you haven’t seen it, Paleo is gaining ground. Here’s another NYT article: The New Age Cavemen and the City.
