I’ve done it twice before. the first time was way back in 2008, when I pumped out 12 posts on December 31, 2008.
Two years ago, I did 20 posts in three days, beginning with Black Friday.
This time, I think I’ll begin tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day, in honor of all people “home alone” for Thanksgiving as I’ll be myself, this year. Then, I’ll continue into Black Friday and perhaps even Saturday, until Bea returns from down south with my doggie organisms.
So yea, 12 years blogging. First post went up November 3, 2003. Or, 4,256 posts ago. There are 4,380 days in 12 years.
Beginning tomorrow, follow along if you like. I have no idea yet in terms of any plan or even particular posts. If you’d like me to spew forth on some particular topic, drop a suggestion in comment or contact me by other means.

‘doggie organisms’……………HA HA!
Longstanding inside joke, like “wife unit.”
When her and then are two close and annoying me and she asks what’s wrong. “Too many organisms.”
Richard, long time reader, occasional commenter. I must say I get tired of your shtick about 12 years blah blah almost a blog a day. You did it just the other day:
just add some stuff to what Bret already posted, you might be unaware that this blog has been in existence since November of 2003, which reminds me I need to do a 12th Anniversary post. The 4,252 posts I’ve put up count to just a bit over 100 shy of the 4,380 days in 12 years, i.e., nearly a post per day over 12 years.
Your blog has its highlights but there is a fair bit of shit just for the sake of posting. If you want examples I’ll post them. So 12 posts in a day.. Well how about the quality?
Just saying (as they say…)
“Richard, long time reader”
Well, that’s a shame.
I pay nothing for the ability to read the content your blog, but I demand that at all times it meet all my requirements regarding content and quality.

Hey, Richard.
Wim Hof Method. Heard of it? Could be a fun blog post. I enjoyed the “Iceman” Vice documentary via reccomendations from a few podcasts (Joe Rogan, Tim Ferris, and Angelo Coppola).

Richard,
I’d love to see you do something on the growing belief of curing ailments with essential oils. Rub some oregano oil on your temple to cure a headache. Diffuse some lavender oil into the air to relieve stress. The therapudic essential oil market is becoming huge. Science or bullshit?
Well, if you are taking requests……. I like your posts on economics, so one of those would be cool. At one time you said you had one coming on what was money really, asked people to guess. I may have missed it, but I do not think I ever saw it. If you still have an interest in it, I would enjoy seeing your take. My answer would be, money is really bits of your life you give up.
Food.
I’d love to see some bulk cooking posts for having good food on hand available in the fridge, particularly with a starch base of rice and potatoes that increase RS this way.
Basically how can one spend a day or half a day cooking and have some quality animal and plant foods available. Your potato grill post with broth was a great example. That is my request.
In response to your request for ideas, please take a look at how meal timing integrates with potatoes, potatoe starch, weight loss, etc. By meal timing I mean the notion of eating breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, etc. and how that integrates with the ideas of intermittent fasting. Just a thought, it seems to me that early man would not eat a light supper, nor fast in the morning. He/she would want to eat these two meals to have energy for the day and body warmth at night. Thus, for modern man, to order to loose/maintain weight, would we want to do just the opposite of early Homo sapiens? Well, just some thoughts. Look forward to your responses if you have an opportunity. Regards.
Here you go, Please and thank you.
