I’d have thought this would have died out by now. Nope, new developments on several fronts including, of all places, that bastion of feminine wonderfulness, Evelyn Kocur (aka Carbsane).
We have a history going way back, it’s gotten publicly personal, yada yada. She’s dropped a total of 86 comments on this blog in the past.
For all the background on the Los Zacatitos spectacularly spectacular spectacle, in chronological order, here are the previous posts.

Let me interject something here. As you’ll see below, I had certain information I could have published that supports my contention in the video testimony that I was attempting to be nice and somewhat conciliatory to Michelle Suderman, Tim Mullen’s fiancé at the time (now wife). But I chose not to publish it in order to test my theory that virtually everyone would cheer the violence and make me an object of ridicule.
I was right, and right far beyond my wildest predictions.
- Tribalism, Equivocation and Moral Ambivalence in the Lost American Suburb of Los Cabos (Many screen clips of community member derision, ridicule, and cheering violence. Also, in particular, see keen comments by ‘V’ that begin here: July 27, 2015 at 12:06)
- Everybody gets to go to hell in their own go-cart, but I left Los Zacatitos anyway.
So that was about the extent of it. Some months ago Justin Blok did threaten to sue me over defamation or libel or something, but after publicly explaining the legal issues and calling his bluff, never heard any more on that. Yep, I was ready to let it die. But it just won’t seem to.
Sometime a few months back, I happened into a discussion on a Christopher Hitchens fan page on Facebook, disputing some of the man-made global warming hysteria. Someone didn’t like that and published a video ridiculing me over the Zac incident. I just glanced, laughed, and shook my head that someone would go to the trouble of stitching together six minutes of video with fancy annotation for the sake of a dispute in comments on Facebook.
It wasn’t until two days ago that James Fell aka “Body for Wife” (a guy without his own identity) published the same video on the Facebook page of Antonio Valladares.
What’s funny about this is that both Antonio and James are a two-person tag team army in the valiant defense of women everywhere who are entitled to velvet-kit-glove treatment in all situations, no exceptions—particularly from any male on the planet. And in terms of sexual relationships, everything but an affirmative ‘absolutely 100% yes yes yes,’ in triplicate, is ‘no,’ and it means no! Moreover, to raise any objection to this in terms of zero-tolerance = zero thinking, means you advocate rape.
So then I click into the video and my eye catches this.
Yep. Turns out Evelyn aka CarbSane herself put that video together and published it way back on July 28, 2015. I never knew. Now, of course, I’m not going to link to it, particularly since it principally uses my own video content and also, because she has it monetized for Google ads.
Instead, I downloaded it and published it on my own YouTube channel.
Go ahead, have a laugh on me. You’re welcome. Oh, and it’s monetized, so watch it five or six times, please, and click on ads if you find them interesting (no click fraud, please).
So, in terms of Michelle and Tim aka “Herb,” juxtapose what she bubbled and giggled up in that comment with what she told or texted to Angel Rini, co-proprietor of Zac’s Bar and Grill, at the time of the incident: “This is not on Richard.” That was told to me face-to-face in the Mega parking lot the next day by Paul Rini, who also told me that Herb drove up to their home first thing the morning after to apologize, using the excuse that he was drunk.
In addition to that, I was so “run out of town,” that it was I who went back to Zac’s literally every evening for dinner, from the evening after the incident (dinner with Paul Dandurand, Al Razutis, and Al’s son) to when I drove out of town about 10 days later, or so. I was also outspoken about it, both on Facebook Zac Group and my blog. All the while, Michelle and Tim were not seen or heard from in either place, Zac’s or online. I had nothing to be ashamed of. Perhaps they did?
I’m not going to rehash all of the reasons why. It’s all in the posts linked above. Instead, I’m going to introduce new evidence, a Facebook Messenger conversation between Michelle and I the very day prior to Herb’s assault and battery. As I said, I was pretty sure how this would be spun and the ridicule that would play out over the spinning, and so I had two principle motivations for withholding it all these 10 months.
- I knew the spin would be ‘Richard was verbally cruel to Michelle and Herb protected her honor,’ and I also knew that there would be zero effort on the part of anyone to point to what actually was said between the two of us, least of all Michelle herself.
- It was my explicit intent to illustrate a principal commitment to non-initiation of force or, stated another way, you don’t just haul off and hit someone (or worse) like a 5-yr-old child because you don’t like what they say, they hurt your feelings, or whatever. Violence is appropriate only in self-defence and in some cases, retaliation (make sure they don’t do it again). Preemptive violence is only appropriate in the case of a credible threat of violence (you have no obligation to bear the first punch, bullet, or slash before you can act to prevent it).
This is all mundane, simple stuff for actual adults—which is why when the 5-yr-old hauls off and hits someone for whatever emotional reason, it’s a learning opportunity for any good parent. But of course, we live in a world now where violence is justified on the basis of “victim” status. If you have such a social or political status, then nobody can be their victim, because their victim status trumps (not sure how it turns amongst two or more victims of privilege…I think they call it ‘The Victim Olympics,’ or something…). Example? Sure.
Violence and protests are features of Donald Trump’s 2016 Republican presidential primary campaign. His rally in San Jose, California, on Thursday did not deviate from this script.
As reported by the Associated Press, protesters clashed with Donald Trump supporters outside of the San Jose Convention Center. Eggs were thrown at several of Trump’s foot soldiers by protesters. There were also reports of physical altercations between the two camps. […]
This is all very predictable. The increasing levels of violence and protests at Donald Trump’s rallies fit perfectly with Right-wing delusions about how “real America” is under “siege” by people of color, non-white immigrants, “liberals,” “Muslims,” gays and lesbians, as well as young people—the latter being a group who have supposedly been stolen away and brainwashed by the bogeyman of “political correctness.”
These worries and panics are not new. A sense of white victimhood and paranoia has been a feature of movement conservatism (and the broader American right-wing) since at least the 1950s.
Translation: Yes, there is and has been violence instigated by protesters at various Trump rallies. But it’s OK, because the objects of that violence are not the victims, but rather, the special interest groups and their defenders who are initiating the violence. Their victimhood “trumps,” so it’s all OK.
Same logic that asserts a white person can never be the subject of racial or “reverse” discrimination. Leftist “logic.”
So, unless Michelle told or showed anyone, nobody has ever known of our FB Messenger conversation that took place the day prior to the altercation. It arose out of Michelle posting a translation to the Zac group on Facebook of a meteorologist’s take on yet another brewing storm. However, she did not make it clear that there was two “translations.” Hers, and the one written either by the meteorologist himself, or someone on the Mexican staff. At any rate, it turns out that it was the latter one I read (initially) and it was pretty bad in a funny way. I didn’t disrespect Michelle over what I understandably, though mistakenly, thought was her translation, but rather just plugged the Spanish into Google Translate and posted it as “an alternative” (once I did read Michelle’s actual translation, it was fine, professional).
So, you be the judge, but does that look like a guy who’s berating Michelle Suderman all over creation, besmirching her, necessitating that her knight in shining armor come to her rescue to restore her honor to its previously lofty heights (by sneaking up behind me to surreptitiously deliver a roundhouse forearm)?
One month and three days ago, after not a single word in the previous nine months, I get an email from Tim “Herb” Mullen.
Then some days after that fateful Friday, because I didn’t drive three hours to an airport, fly 1,500 miles to Cabo, and arrange lodging and transportation…
At any rate, I simply continued responding in relative calm, disabusing his false notions, such as how I don’t alow comments on this blog (somebody told him), etc. Anyway, just a few days ago, another email…
Sincere? Hell, I don’t know, but I did reply that if it was, I’d be happy to let him know next time I’m in Cabo, and I’d be happy to meet and talk. I do have vacation rentals there so it’s sure I’ll be there again at some point.
…OK, to wrap this up, I was perfectly content to just have this settle and die, leaving the record as is. However, given the history with Evelyn aka CarbSane—who pretty much all regular readers of this blog are more than familiar with—another installment was too much to pass up.
Who knew I could troll Evelyn into believing what she wanted, cheer on violence based on those beliefs (still wrong anyway) but then to make it worse, clearly demonstrate that while I may be a bit cumbersome to deal with, I was by no means treating poor Michelle in any way that would even remotely justify physical violence.
You know the saying, “if something looks too good to be true, it probably is?” Well, Evelyn, chew on it. In your haste to mash together a funny video to ridicule someone who was the subject of physical violence, you never stopped to wonder why I would so readily publish stuff on my own blog that makes me such an easy and obvious target for ridicule. Never occurred to you that I might be holding something back, on purpose like?
So perhaps this sheds light on your character, which has been my problem most of the time all along. I don’t even agree with Gary Taubes’ insulin hypothesis of obesity myself, and while I have written as much from time-to-time, not the what…300?…posts or more you’ve put in harping on essentially the same stuff. You’re just cunty, as I’ve charged before, and now you’ve gone and added weight to it, along with displaying a whole new and other level of cuntiness.
You’re welcome. I’m not sure if even James Fell or Antonio Valladares would be up to the task of defending your lofty feminist entitlement over being called exactly what you are.
