All “Pills” Are Lies, Essential To The Health of the Matrix

— Escape The Matrix Forever With The 114 No-Pill Advantages

The 114 No-Matrix/No-Pill Advantages Course. Start here.

The valid question is raised, “what’s a pill?” and indeed, to know why “no-pill” is of importance to you and your life, prosperity, and happiness…you need to know what “pills” are and why they’re bad medicine.

All of them.

There are no exceptions…and that’s going to be a particularly hard pill for some of you to swallow because most of you have your favorite and most cherished pills—some of them constituting opioids of the masses…

I began the series in mid-July intending to publish five No-Pill Advantages per week, and I’d be finishing right around now. Number 57 was the halfway point, and then I published #58. I looked at number 59, the original written by a friend in the late 1980s—then my edited and rewritten versions from the early 90s, and even 2010s, about a dozen years ago being the last—and went oops this is going to take some thinking and complete rewriting.

It’s about diet.

My ideas have changed and evolved about that topic most particularly, and if I’m going to publish something that’s tantamount to being “Biblical,” then I’m going to get it right.1 This is especially crucial as I know what I’m talking about, from religious and “Bible School” university in a past life.2

Intending to let it rest while I chewed on it a while, days turned to weeks turned to a few months, and here we are. This posting marathon presented an obvious window in which to revive it to completion.

The Story of How The 114 Began

I have previously addressed these 114 advantages on the blog, as well as in an email list some time ago. On those occasions, I shared the story of their origins, so I felt no urgent need to emphasize that aspect again, knowing that I would eventually do so. Now, due to this intermission, I believe it’s the appropriate time, as we’re halfway through, to revisit the history of how these advantages began.

Originally, they were not written by me. They were authored by someone who became a very dear friend, Wallace Ward, who wrote under the pseudonym Frank R. Wallace. I first encountered his 114 Neo-Tech Advantages back in 1990, which had been written in the latter half of the 1980s. By about the 15th or 20th advantage, I found that in a matter of minutes, I had completely deprogrammed myself, not in a way that any “pill” on the market could claim to do.

I began corresponding with the publishing company that produced the Neo-Tech writings and was eventually put in contact with Wallace. We started collaborating online, using Usenet newsgroups to further disseminate his work. Eventually, I met him in person, sharing meals and conversations. Tragically, he was struck by a car and killed while out running in Las Vegas, Nevada, around 15 years ago.

Part of our collaboration involved me reworking the text to remove many of the neologisms he used for marketing purposes, aiming to present the ideas more rationally. He was very encouraging of this. In the early days, I produced several drafts that he approved of, and I have published some of these rewrites on this blog under its original manifestation, Neo-Tech…acknowledging that they are edits of the original work. Over time, I’ve essentially rewritten them, so while the original concepts remain, the presentation is modernized and stylistically different.

It’s a complex process to describe; the work originated with someone else, yet it has been completely rewritten by me. That’s the history. In this current phase, I’m even incorporating some AI assistance with the rewrites—not for all of them, but selectively. My approach varies depending on whether I want a particular advantage to have an edgy tone in my style or to sound more academic and sterile. I haven’t settled on a consistent style throughout, as different subjects demand different levels of emphasis. This is really just the first pass using AI, and I expect to continue refining them over time.

Nutshell It For Me

The underlying message here is that human beings essentially live in a paradigm. In the past, an individual would be born into a single paradigm and remain in it until death. However, when we consider the advancement and progress of human civilization, it can be seen as the creation of numerous paradigms. Everyone is born into several paradigms, moving through life acquiring new paradigms, sometimes discarding old ones. There are even paradigms within paradigms. Each belief system, or ‘pill’, is a paradigm, and every new paradigm is a ‘pill, or ‘pill’.

The concept of the Matrix can be viewed as a meta-paradigm. It is the overarching paradigm encompassing the entirety of civilization. Alternatively, it can be perceived as the lie, or the collection of lies, upon which everyone relies to navigate their lives. It is exceptionally rare to find someone who has very few, or no, lies that they believe to be truths to live by.

Let’s shift our discussion from paradigms to the metaphor of the Matrix and its pills. Originally, there was the blue pill, symbolizing ignorance of the Matrix’s true nature, and the red pill, representing the attainment of enlightenment. In the Matrix, even when you see through the illusion and think you have escaped, you might still be within its confines. This was illustrated in the third film of the Matrix series, where it was revealed that the red pill was part of the Matrix all along—a sort of ‘limited hangout’. The red pill gives the illusion of enlightenment, but it’s still a necessity for the health of the Matrix.

It’s like a digital autophagy to clear out, renew, recycle, and revive.

In our society, we see this dichotomy in the form of political parties—Democrats and Republicans, the left and the right. These can be viewed as various ‘pills’ that people subscribe to, yet the entire system relies on this opposition.

Peace and tranquility within a paradigm of force, compliance, hierarchy, and government requires essential antagonism for there to exist a necessary contrast.

… Can’t have peace and tranquility become such a norm that people don’t take the endless problem-creating and hobgoblin-conjuring seriously.

Nowadays, there are many other colors of pills—yellow, black, purple, and so on. Each represents a slightly different paradigm or belief system, but they are all part of the same overarching structure. Every religion, culture, and language on Earth can be seen as a ‘pill’. Language, in particular, is closely tied to the way we perceive reality. Living in Thailand, previously Japan, and France (as a French speaker), I experience this firsthand. When translating, one must grapple with metaphors that may seem nonsensical when taken literally. To truly understand the nuances of language—its metaphors, similes, and references—one must become fluent, tantamount to entering into a paradigm or swallowing a pill. Thus, each language represents a paradigm, a ‘pill’, that shapes our understanding of the world.

All Pills Are Lies

Now comes the hard part for everyone to swallow because of the resistance. People do not like to be told that they’re living a lie. The reason they don’t like to be told that they’re living a lie is because of what is conjured up in their head when they think of what a lie is. They go to the idea of it being wrong or bad on a moral level, which it is, but it is the context in which they perceive morality that’s the problem.

Here’s what I mean: The lie is a moral issue, but it’s because someone said so, or someone commanded so, or it was said, or someone passed a law, and on and on and on. It’s based on a false authority. Every authority outside yourself, once you become a competent adult, is false; it’s fake. There are no exceptions. But there’s an authority under which we all find ourselves, and that is the authority of reality, of natural law, of nature. You can’t jump out of your upper-story window and avoid splattering when you hit the ground. That’s what I mean. So, in that sense, if you define morality as that which is objectively good for the human organism, and immorality as that which is objectively bad for the human organism, per these laws of reality, of nature, physical laws, there’s no human or conscious authority involved in this. There’s no willy-nilly; there’s no mercy either. There’s no malevolence. Nature just is. That’s what’s given; that’s what’s laid down.

One reason all of these paradigms, or these pills, are conjured up in the first place is that they are ways to evade reality, to evade the raw forces of nature. And that’s done by controlling people, by gaining power and authority and money by doing so. And as I said before, it’s not all bad because civilization, such as it exists, makes it a lot easier for a lot more people to survive, and have some modicum of enjoyment in life, rather than just being at the whim of the elements, of the natural laws, and having to eat, shelter yourself, and so on.

So, what is a lie?

A lie is anything that evades reality. That’s a lie. So, it takes it out of this kind of idea of moral or religious sin…a lie before God…that sorta thing. Now you’re just trying to scoot by reality and nature without full accountability and consequences and so on…getting an edge. And sometimes you can, especially if you’re able to manipulate or force other people to do things; commit fraud. But this is what authorities do to stay authorities. That is what they exist for. They exist to get around or shortcut all of these awful consequences by basically pooling everyone’s risk in exchange for obedience, and all the other things that go along with it, like taxation and telling you what to do.

And you can break it down in the same way, for every sort of institution, every religion, every social club, everything like that. And I’m not saying that all of them are bad. What I’m trying to do is convey an understanding that we’re living under a pack of lies—lies being evasions of reality—or…we can say they’re while they are lies, that seek to evade reality, they’re also us really trying to kind of control reality a little bit towards our own ends.

And once you input the actual effort and work into it and achieve the result, then you’ve turned the lie into truth though honest, hard, integrated thinking and work. This is called progress.

“Nature, to be commanded, must be obeyed.” — Francis Bacon

Ultimately, we have to obey, but there are things we can do, especially if we work together. And that’s what society does, so that can be good. It can be progress. It can make everything easier and less risky for everyone—but not based on lies, platitudes, force, fraud, or proclamation…but through hard, integrated, honest hard work. And that’s where it also has a high propensity for fraud, abuse, pillage, and murder (Democide), and that is what we’re seeing in spades today. Because not only do you have the abusers at the top—who have always been there—but now they have tons of help from everyone with a keyboard who is a lazy-ass motherfucker, an automatic liar, who has lost the voice of his own conscience.

What to Do?

If you need more convincing, I have an email series. It’s not published on the web; it’s delivered via email. You can input your email address in the form below, click the button, and it will initiate that 15-email sequence—one per day. They’re surprisingly short. One bite at a time.

If you’re already convinced, then you need to start the >>> 114 No-Pill Advantages Course <<< so that you can reprogram yourself under your own exclusive authority; under the auspices of your best, fully integrated, honest grasp of reality as it is…and NOT as you wish, hope, or believe it to be based on what external voices tell, shame, or guilt you into.

  1. The 114 No-Pill Advantages are metaphorically “Biblical” in scope, and they kick ass up against the primitive, indoctrinating, guilt-and-shame inducing Christian Bible (and the part the Jews claim) for the control of flocks of dumb fucking sheeple…all led by a character ironically called The Lamb of God, making self-sacrifice—martyrdom by any other the name—the highest virtue a human can attain, which is fucked-up and evil.
  2. From about the age of 10, onward, I was indoctrinated, “saved” (“born again”), and baptized into the evangelical, fundamentalist, baptist ways of literal interpretations of ancient religious catechisms and text…though the literal aspects always seemed to stop short of enslaving and stoning women, raping when she deserves it, sleeping around sometimes, and murder and genocide. My family founded Grace Baptist Church and Reno Christian Academy in Reno, NV and after graduation, I attended Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN. I know my shit and can go up against any “theologian” on the planet with half my brain tied behind my back (because they have to lie; I don’t lie).
