Red, White, Black, and Brown

Slowed down now speeding up

For that title image, I simply asked, “I’m looking for an image that conveys the idea that ‘nobody has figured it out, yet.’ Give it a shot.”

So, so, while everyone is clamoring on a daily basis for every bit of information, every little tidbit they could possibly know, and for every clue they can get their greedy little hands on to tell them what’s going on, you’re not going to fucking know.

You’ll be left in the dark, like a bunch of sheep waiting for the next scrap of news to feed on. Because: the world doesn’t owe you every detail, every minute, of what’s happening behind the scenes. You want to know everything? You want to be in the loop? You’ll just have to wait. Figure it out for yourself rather than waiting for someone to spoon-feed you the answers.

Most of what you’re clamoring for is just noise anyway. It’s the mental equivalent of junk food, giving you a fleeting sense of being ‘in the know’ without actually contributing to your understanding or betterment. Not knowing everything all the time might just be the best thing for your sanity.

Knowledge isn’t just handed to you; sometimes, you’ve got to earn it. And if you’re not willing to do that, then sit down, shut up, and wait until someone decides you’re worth knowing. Or better yet, go out and make something happen yourself.

In the meantime…

– I’ve been down and sick off my ass for some days. Probably caught it from a coughing sleepover gal a week back. Oh, man, this was serious choking shit for me. I kept downplaying it and finally, loaded up on meds a couple of days ago from my fav pharma gal down the street, doubled or tripled all dosage recommendations, and I finally feel like I’m past the worst. For days, I’ve spent more time deep coughing than light sleeping. I’ve also lost my voice, which was a shock a few hours ago when a friend of mine who lives condo units away (co-founder of Odwalla in Santa Cruise, CA back in the day) greeted me and I was “speechless.”

In bouts of fuck it, I have published some things on social media because it’s far easier than writing a blog post. Here’s a select few, just a few.

This one won’t embed. Maybe X insists I pay to “promote” it, first.

Alright. That’s about all I’m up for today.

I do have what I think are a couple of cool ones for members in the slow cooker.
