Nature or Nurture: Why Communism, Socialism, Environmentalism, and Wokeism Fail Where Traditional Religion Excels

Create an artistic representation of the interplay between nature and nurture, depicting the balance between genetic inheritance and environmental influences in shaping human development. Show the harmony between the two forces, with elements symbolizing DNA and genes intertwined with symbols of upbringing, education, and social interactions.

I Asked a Pregnant Lady “Boy or Girl?” and Here’s What Happened

— I Wasn't Shocked, For a Good Reason

  • Humanity vs. Inhumanity
  • Slippery Slopes Slide
  • Where Are Lines Drawn; When is Enough, Enough?

The Cute and Pregnant Thai Girl

I met Kip shortly after moving into my new place in August.

She's a typical 25 year old young Thai lady. Very demure. Cute as a 45-kilo button (100 pounds). She did get a little grouchy when I guessed her age at 29, however. It's tough. Many age very little between 20 and 40.

She's my nextdoor neighbor and goes off to work every day to her secretarial job in a nearby hotel. When she comes home, it's into her room and hibernation until the next day. That was my sole observable critique of her personality. Seemed low energy.

I suspected she had a man in her life when one day she headed off for about a week. Then, a month or so later she headed off again. All was confirmed a few weeks back when an older, mature-presenting Thai man showed up to stay for a few days.

I didn't ask any questions. I don't pry, like that.

About then, she began wearing funny clothes. By funny, I mean baggy...and of a pretty stout fabric—like something you'd make curtains with. The first time, I thought nothing of it. When after some days and and seeing that's all she wore, I got the ah-ha moment.

Jesus I'm so clueless, sometimes...

So one evening when she returned home, I asked, "Kip, do you have a baby under there?"

Humanity vs. Inhumanity

First, life vs. its negation...non-life. Inanimate, inorganic, still, dead. Lifeless.

In the universe, life reproduces itself. For it not to do so could only mean that it's immortal or it's dying for keeps. It takes life to reproduce life.

There's nothing more fundamental. The further we move from single-cell organisms to animals, to mammals, to human "mamminals," the more participatory, playful, and enjoyable are the actions that surround reproduction. The more animal and human [animal] like they become.

Humans have many billion-dollar industries that touch on one or more aspects of reproduction...from dating to courting to wooing to attracting to preening to mating rituals to olfactory factors to silk linens. From a twinkle in an eye to foreplay to intercourse to a delivery room to a pink or blue nursery.

If you stop and really think on it, deeply, and follow all the connections and nuances, it's as though all of our human activity is, in one way or another, inexorably linked to reproducing our lives...to rejuvenate and renew.

Yet in so many places we can look, this core natural fundamental isn't understood or recognized. In many cul-de-sacs and ideological waypoints, reproduction is regarded as inconvenient at best, life destroying at worst.

Imagine what sort of ironic mind one must possess to craft a worldview where the very thing that rejuvenates all—reproduced life—is seen as detrimental to other "ideals" (ideals for whom and for what?) that somehow take precedence over the very thing that makes everything else not only possible, but meaningful.

Without life and renewed, reproduced life, all becomes meaningless.

What would be the point?

Elon Musk Is Making Twitter Fun Again — MTFA

— Twitter Means Nothing; Or Right Now, It Means Everything

And "Blazing Saddles" is Trending

  • What Does The Left Think Elon Musk is Trying to Accomplish?
  • What is Elon Musk Really Accomplishing?
  • The Golden Helmet
  • Making Twitter Fun Again
  • My Account is Still Permanently Suspended
  • My Video

What is Twitter, Anyway?

It's just a social media platform with very limited features by design.

In fact, when it began, the character limit was 120, same as for SMS on phones. Since 2017 it's been 280 but still, that demands quite a bit of efficiency when attempting to get a complex idea off in one tweet.

It was dismissed by many as silly...and with various derisions such as "men don't TWEET!"

In spite of that, however, it gained lots of traction as a place to exchange serious ideas and many serious people have accounts on it because it's pretty damn efficient for that in ways what other platforms like Facebook and Instagram aren't.

Its brevity or, pithiness when at its best, is likely a good reason it has persisted and at least part of why a guy who builds cars and rocketships decided it was worth paying 44 Billion for.

Amongst the things Elon Musk thought about when deciding to buy the thing or not must have been whatever his take is on Twitter's role as a public town square; and if I think about that, isn't it common that in situations where a bunch of people are arguing or discussing ideas, that everyone just gets a few words?

Youngun “Party Town” Thailand: Sexless, Self-Righteous, Androgynous

— In a rational world, brats get sent to bed without any dinner

As I've been recounting in my recent Newsletter issues, I've been doing some no-reservations travel where one just sorta spontaneously heads off in one direction and goes with the flow along that path. I didn't plan to go to Koh Phi Phi again, but that's where I ended up for a night before continuing on to Koh Lanta, refreshingly devoid of the young set. Lanta is a place for older, mature-of-mind-and-attitude expats, to partake in its peace and tranquility—which it delivers handily.

Instead of hopping the ferry back home to Phuket, I opted to grab a 3-hr minivan transport to Ao Nang for a couple of nights—at the heart of geologically-astounding Krabi province and its Phang Nga bay. You have to see it to believe it.

Just a small taste of it

This is what no-reservations travel is all about...no-commitment trekking at your whim and leisure. You wanna stay an extra day or two? Can do. Had enough, and you wish to move on right now? Can do. Wanna switch your next destination to someplace else? Can do. Wanna go there by a different route or change the means of your transport? Can do.

I've been travelling like this for 38 years all over the place and have yet to end up hunkering down in a sidewalk alcove for shelter and sleep. I'd never want to do travel any other way, preferably.

...But you have to live a rather fearless life as prerequisite—or you'll fret yourself silly—and the planet doesn't produce many of those types, anymore.

Better safe than sorry!

Ao Nang, like Phi Phi, is a popular destination for the young set—backpackers, students, dreadlocks, elephant pants, vegans, etc.

Plus: NO SEX!!!

...It gets way, way worse from here out, so this is where I'll need to cut it off. If you'd like to read it anyway, plus get unfettered access to everything devoid of hassle going forward, then join up.

Empires Come And Go But Pax Is Lasting (For As Long As It Lasts)

— "Whatever happens will be for the worse; therefore, it is our interest that as little should happen as possible." — Lord Salisbury

That was uttered by the statesman Lord Salisbury whilst the inevitability of British decline as an empire was too apparent to dismiss as the world entered into the 20th Century.

I find it a rather humorous thing to say in regard to matters of such import; but, alas, I find myself in a similar vein watching in horror delight—can't decide—as American decline is manifest as a trip to hell—either by handbasket or rocket sled depending upon which day it is.

I'll begin with a basic question most everyone has an unthinking, automatic answer reaction to:

Was the government of the US ever a good government?

I don't know that there's a definitive answer to that question that would even begin to satisfy the most skeptical, critical, and objective thinkers amongst us even if able to set aside our biases.

Surely, one of the first questions to the question would be, what's the standard of "good?" a legitimate and fair query. So, that's where claims must be staked first and reaching agreement on a single standard or set of non-contradictory standards will be next to impossible and much of that hinges and pivots upon an individual's views on complex, unsettled matters such as free will, natural rights, spiritualism, materialism, et al.

But we can cut to the chase a little bit, so let's just do that.

[In essence, THE CURRENT THING! is fast becoming how the Left is having a bad day, week, month, and year...getting face-fucked from all directions at once.

May it continue and heighten. We don't have enough prison space but we're going to have to manage.

Justice this time around is essential, no matter who, or from which party. Most of the political establishment should be serving long sentences for any number of actions that have harmed people in America and abroad. For instance, when it becomes apparent and is proven that the US blew up Nord Stream and plunged everyday Europeans into financial ruin and the cold, how many republicans should do 25 To Life for that?]

The remaining 3400 word are to be found below the "paywall."

There's no way around the reality that I've managed to take this near 20-year-old blog to a membership direct-pay, viable proposition. With each new subscriber—usually several per day—combined with my geoarbitrage advantage, the thought of doing "free" content financed by affiliate deals, advertising, and corporate sponsorships that I pester you with incessantly, fades. Fast. This should become apparent to anyone pretty quick who tries to access anything beyond excerpts and introductions.

Inevitably, some are going to get weary of being locked out of stuff and join up so that access is unfettered, or they'll just cease popping in. Inevitable. I'm fine with either. I think it's silly to try to persuade someone to buy an ongoing subscription to something that's not of some genuine importance to them.

Here's one of the recent testimonials.

Found Richard 2012ish from Tom Naughton of Fathead fame.  In short, came for the Paleo, stayed for the intellect. I believe Richard is honest. I admire that he is 100% true to himself, and he puts it all out there, take it or leave it.  And, he’s really fine with either!  He gives narratives/takes on subjects that, while entertaining, often makes me think and question how I view things. Unequivocally, Richard has given me more value than any other independent internet resource for a decade now. I’m happy to support his efforts of “one mind at a time,” as I have surely benefited from them. — Ron in Florida

There's a lot of that in the testimonials. So too, the excerpts.

Here's how to join up. Do note that on January 1, 2023—the anniversary year of this blog...at it for 20 years and over 5000 posts—the prices for paid membership will double for monthly, annual, and lifetime subscriptions. Those already subscribed to one of those paying levels on December 31st will not only retain the current price levels so long as they maintain their memberships, but will have the option to upgrade (monthly to annual or lifetime, annual to lifetime) for a limited time by paying only the difference the new and the original pricing as it stands now.

Has Putin-Lead Russia Eclipsed America and The West as the Moral Conscience of the World?

Unquestionably, Yes.

...Because, Vladimir Putin has been saying the same exact things for a long time. And it's not faux-virtue signalling, either. It's unmistakable moral fortitude based upon the deep cultural, literary, artistic, and religious roots and traditions of mother Russia going back 1,162 years as a country with a name, but inhabited for thousands of years prior.

In the large context and scope of its history, that 69 year experiment in hard-line communism called the USSR was a mere aberration and I've encountered few souls in my life whom I think truly grasp that. Well, we have life spans on par with the longevity of that socialist experiment, so I suppose that's how we tend to think—absent a more thorough study and deeper consideration. Or, look at it this way: of the hundreds of millions of Russians who've lived and died prior to 1917, not a single one was a socio-commie in the formal, modern sense of the word.

Believing that the Soviet experiment irrevocably and irredeemably condemns Russia and Russians forevermore is plain shallow-ass thinking, dismissing the possibility of redemption through lessons learned. It's regurgitating what you've been told, really. Stop that shit.

I can help. For just one, who better to tell you of the pitfalls of un communisme si dur that it shut off all private economic activity—with the result of being hamstrung in international development and trade for decades to come, even after its collapse?

So, if my assertion of Russia's demonstrably superior moral stance moving forward comes as a shock or WTF??? moment to you, consider that perhaps it's because you simply haven't paid any attention—having only been fed by the spoons of mainstream media, Fox News, and the forever-war-mongering wing of the Republican party.

I'll reveal what's really going on—what underlies all of it—as my final nail in the West's hegemonic coffin toward the end of this post, with a key clue coming from a most seemingly unlikely source...

For now, yesterday's Putin speech—the signing of treaties on accession of Donetsk and Luhansk republics, and Zaporozhye and Kherson regions to Russia—repudiated the former Soviet Union. Not in the strong terms I'd have prefered, but sufficient.

In 1991 in Belovezhskaya Pushcha, representatives of the party elite of that time made a decision to terminate the Soviet Union, without asking ordinary citizens what they wanted, and people suddenly found themselves cut off from their homeland. This tore apart and dismembered our national community and triggered a national catastrophe. Just like the government quietly demarcated the borders of Soviet republics, acting behind the scenes after the 1917 revolution, the last leaders of the Soviet Union, contrary to the direct expression of the will of the majority of people in the referendum of 1991, destroyed our great country, and simply made the people in the former republics face this as an accomplished fact.

I can admit that they didn’t even know what they were doing and what consequences their actions would have in the end. But it doesn't matter now. There is no Soviet Union anymore; we cannot return to the past. Actually, Russia no longer needs it today; this isn’t our ambition. But there is nothing stronger than the determination of millions of people who, by their culture, religion, traditions, and language, consider themselves part of Russia, whose ancestors lived in a single country for centuries. There is nothing stronger than their determination to return to their true historical homeland.

Bolded emphasis, mine.

Shorter Putin: They fucked it up in 1917 in establishing the thing, then fucked it up again in 1991 in disbanding it.

It's not a small or minor point. It would have decades-long consequences.

Behind the choice of millions of residents in the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, is our common destiny and thousand-year history. People have passed this spiritual connection on to their children and grandchildren. Despite all the trials they endured, they carried the love for Russia through the years. This is something no one can destroy. That is why both older generations and young people – those who were born after the tragic collapse of the Soviet Union – have voted for our unity, for our common future.

Bolded emphasis, mine.

I'm actually rearranging paragraphs in his speech a little here and a little there...

It is undoubtedly their right, an inherent right sealed in Article 1 of the UN Charter, which directly states the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples.

I repeat, it is an inherent right of the people. It is based on our historical affinity, and it is that right that led generations of our predecessors, those who built and defended Russia for centuries since the period of Ancient Rus, to victory.

If you wince at his characterization of the 1991 collapse of the Soviet Union as "tragic," well, there are different ways to interpret that, and that's just in the English. Unless you understand Russian natively, it's hard to grasp how close the transliteration is to what he actually means.

But in the end, he's covered it. Indeed, there's no turning back..."Actually, Russia no longer needs it today; this isn’t our ambition."

I believe him, and that's where his earnest moral fortitude comes in. Earlier today, after first listening to, then reading the entire speech, I wrote this on my Telegram channel:

In a sense, if you think about it, Putin-led Russia is overtaking the West in general and America in specific, as the "moral conscience" of the planet.

Listen to Putin's own words and realize that such words cannot be spoken by any fed-level politician in America, and certainly not a Democrat one.

America [and the West I'll add] is a moral shit hole. Abjectly.

So there.

That's about a 1,000-word intro. I hope it wet a few appetites. You'll find the other 7,000 words—unlike any you'll find elsewhere—below.

Italy’s Giorgia Meloni Crushes The Global Elite Left: “They Pretend We Are Stupid”

At 45, Giorgia Meloni would still be pretty hot if she was 35.

I woke up to some great news...perfectly in the tradition of Brexit, Donald Trump, and Hungary's Viktor Orbán...as prominent challenges to the Global Elite Left.

...And we've born witness to nothing but doubling-down—approaching, embracing, and advancing heightened levels of crazy and inch-mile more and more effin' cray cray! since the summer of 2016's democratic Brexit referendum—that took 3 1/2 years to implement...because "threat to democracy"—such that shite like mutilating the genitals of children in the name of an euphemism..."transition"...or just infaniciding them to get their lives destroyed instanter is up for "public debate," where any detractors are misinformers, disinformers, or those simply not following THE SCIENCE!!!

...And so it comes to pass that I have some stuff to knee-jerk react about (when not being deliberately eloquent in my typical writing fashion). Plus, a short video with heart-palpable footage.

Just grab a membership at whichever level you choose to cross over to the dark side—or the light.

POLITICAL RANT: How Much Truth Can You Handle? What’s Going on in The World?

Rather than entitle the thing "roundup," which I kinda hate, Im picking the most clickbait title from all the roundup stuff.

Did it work? Would you have just passed on by, but just had to click in?

...Mostly more videos this week, but toning it down. Only 7 of them, like 2 weeks ago—not the ridiculous 15 of them, like last week. For those who hate the videos, thanks for your patience. It'll all work out. I have to first get to the monetization level, and the bar is surprisingly high which is probably a good thing.

I'm on track and accelerating.

For those who're okay with the vids but prefer audio-only, I'm podcasting them.

  1. Anchor (the host and upload platform)
  2. Spotify (the owner of Anchor)
  3. Google Podcasts
  4. Amazon Podcasts
  5. Apple Podcasts (submitted, not up yet, but a PITA anyway...forcing you into an app where the others have both apps and web-based)

So...

This last week was dominated by getting increasingly anxious and antsy about creating more tricked-out videos. It makes it more challenging and fun. So, a few of the videos are mostly about that in itself...not as some successful expert, but about a dude learning as he goes, in pretty short order, and you can too. If interested. My biggest deficiency is the thumbnails, i.e. the image that's supposed to get you to click and watch.

I just hate the way so many do these. Some contrived image—often cartoon like—along with a silly mug with some hyped and stupid facial expression: usually with soyboy-boy-like, girlish exuberance on display. Blech.

Such is the state of the world, whether you can handle that truth, or not.

...I have half a mind to push back by doing something radical with the thumbnails. Picture this: solid black background, large white clickbait text. Exclamation point. Done. If it works, rename it to "Black & White Videos." Or something...

Alright, then. Videos.

12 Questions Of Life: 12 Answers in Rapid Succession, All with a Cool Intro

I'm breaking my own rule about doing single posts for a single video, but this one was a treat shooting and then editing and weirdly, I didn't even feel like doing it; whereas, I usually do. I'm usually quite exuberant, in fact.

I mean, right up to the point I got to the 3rd shooting location (yea, three separate locations) I was feeling meh about it.

Perhaps it's because this one was done solidly into the afternoon—it pissed rain most of yesterday, all damn night, and the first hours of the morning—and I'm now doing almost all footage shooting in the mornings...like during the walk.

Anyway, I think it turned out pretty darned great in terms of both visuals and soundness of the content—especially given my self-learning-as-I-go lack of experience.

Why the paragliding hero image up top?

Serendipity.

The Weaponized Fed State Police (FBI) Secret-Surprise Raid on Mar-O-Lago

Time for some politics. As much as I try to avoid the daily lies lies lies from almost all sources, this is one that has signs of cutting through all the lies...it's that unprecedented and insane.

This is primarily a written piece, along with a short video to introduce it and some of the background I'll cover, along with brief commentary on the raid and its implications.

  • How Black Jesus squandered an opportunity and turned the left into warmongers just like the right
  • How the 2016 election was substantially fraudulent, just not enough for Hillary
  • How Trump's refusal to create more global war while deescalating and diminishing existing ones turned the left into even greater warmongers than Black Jesus accomplished
  • The non-stop frothing at the mouth Trump's entire term to get him on something...anything
  • The 2020 abject election fraud with its gift horse of Covid hysteria
  • The Mar-O-Lago FBI secret-surprise raid and its implications for America and the world

The Banality of Good and Evil

The Story Of What I Think About Roe vs. Wade

Of course I'll provide thoughts and integrations on this momentous decision, 49 years in the running. I was 12 years old and I can still remember the blue screen on the TV in 1973 when the deed was done.

One could make a good argument that 1973's Roe vs. Wade was a watershed moment because by mere legalism, our US Government's Supreme Court wrecked the natural balance globally between the male and the female and thus arose feminism.

And I am going to do it right here, right now. Take that to mind and heart. By means of nefariously evil jurists, they shed asunder the most basic and fundamental thing that bound a man to a woman and a woman to a man: kids; or, oops, I'm pregnant...the two most awful-yet-wonderful words between good-hearted men and women in the whole English language. On the one hand it's an oh-shit, what do we do now? and on the other, wow, just-wow. You know what I mean.

Asian Social and Sexual Conservatism; Utter Rejection of LGBT

Asia is a large area of the globe and generally thought of mostly as Japan, China, Korea, PI, Indonesia, and all the "indochinese" States just south of China, like where I live and love to live in Thailand.

Let me give you my take on it's social conservatism, it's sexual conservatism, and its utter repudiation of LGBT hysterical nonsense which increasingly, is my principle reason for choosing to live here instead of America or anywhere in the morally decrepit and declining West. It might surprise you, maybe give you something to think about.
