Lies and Losing Hands Require Secrecy

Ever stop to wonder why so much is always opaque?

How functional would a small village of humans be if huge swaths of what goes on is shrouded in secrecy?

Now, expand that to the local church, then the larger community.

Some things are matters of personal privacy…such as your health issues, some of your aspirations, plans, dreams, private thoughts…and what goes on in your bedroom and bathroom.

Stop to consider what motivates someone to demand confidentiality and secrecy. That’s not to say there are never plausible reasons. One’s business plans are a good example. But if you look around and make an honest assessment, how much really needs to be kept secret?

Could it be that demands for secrecy are made in order to accomplish two things?

  1. Protect from a loss of confidence and trust, or against shame because the secret reveals things that would naturally lead to such losses and judgments.
  2. Manufacture fake trust and confidence under the auspices of protecting you in some way.

That second one is the scam everyone falls into. By “trusting you” to keep a secret, what they’re really after is you trusting them, when what they’ve got up their sleeves might ultimately have you running the other way.

On a person level, I run a radically transparent operation as the writer of this blog and as an expat in Thailand. It gets me into trouble often enough. For example, among a circle of Thai gal friends (some sexual, some just buddies), most of whom also know each-other, by being my typical transparent self and never lying, it tends to expose that the gals lie to each other all the time.

Of course, this makes me the bad guy (it’s like you can’t make this shit up, but it’s real).

… Now I’ll segue into a bit that came over in email last night from Brownstone Institute and served as the motivation for taking what I just wrote and scaling it to national and geopolitical interests at large.

The Wrong Lesson

Government took the wrong lesson from the Covid period: it can get away with terrible actions against the people. It can censor. It can rely on media complicity. The highest levels of corporate culture will go along. It can rely on enforcement bludgeons emerging from within the firmament of the credentialed class of professionals, the 21st century’s version of the Red Guard.

The other side of the coin is that, in poker parlance, they revealed their hand. Millions are onto the game. Brownstone Institute has assembled many of the brightest, most dedicated, and most hard-working researchers, writers, litigators, and intellectuals with a mission to save freedom and fundamentally change public culture.

Informing all this work is the awareness of what’s really going on in ruling-class circles. They truly have been found out. That, however, only intensifies the stakes and the terms. The attempt now is to escalate the coercion, double down on censorship, and tighten the grip over the population.

The history is writing itself right now, and Brownstone Institute is thrilled to be at the center of it all, not as a political activist but as an information source, a supporter of canceled intellectuals, a tool for top-quality research, and an inspiration to multitudes.

Another way I like to look at it is that “lies take a lot of work and maintenance, while the truth can be hung out to dry and cure.” I think most people understand this intuitively. If you lie about something—forget about moral judgments for a minute and just focus on the practical—then you have to protect the lie. This takes thought and care. And work. And, usually, more lies. In contrast, the truth requires no maintenance at all. It doesn’t even require any defense. If it’s the truth, then that’s it. Defend it, advance it, or don’t, but what’s so fucking cool about the truth is that to state it is to finish it, and it doesn’t matter if “everyone disagrees.”

Yea, everyone disagrees?

Well, then fuck everyone.

The advanced course in this is the No-Pill Course of 114-Advantages. I’m fixin’ to get fired up about that, again. The advanced of the advantages is the craft of telling the truth through telling targeted lies. I call it “white-hat cheating.” Here’s a recent Facebook exchange that gives you a clue.

So, you see? There are nuances.

And yes, very emphatically, lies have different status based on intention and motivation. Absolutely, they do. A lie can be an evasion of reality, a shield from reality, a protection against predators, a counter-scam against scamming, and a way to gradually persuade someone to the truth, bit by bit.

In fact, I could make a good argument that Christianity, and all major religions for that matter, are packs of lies that nudge most people into being good to one-another and seeing more ultimate truths in that regard. All roads lead to Rome. What makes it go off the rails is when predators and parasites take the lies of religion and legislate them through force and coercion.

… My post yesterday, Briefly: Chick Juxtapositions, wasn’t perhaps taken quite so well. Lots of chick unsubscribes from the newsletter, and one gal even canceled her annual paid membership. Annual members canceling (very rare, here) is a big deal.

But on the other hand, I’m not the kind who tries to blog what a membership wants. It’s hopless to market for blog membership here. I’ve tried. Experts have tried. So, my approach is to just be my own niche and write about what interests me. Then slowly collect the people over time who see it for what it is, and want me to keep at it.

Or, you could say that, as a “sexpat” in Thailand, I’ve got plenty of whores in my life. I don’t need to be one myself. Most popular newsletter writers and influencers are whores. They have limits on what subjects they can talk about as well as what they can say within any given subject, or they get canceled by their own paying membership. I don’t even have a microgram of such a problem, and I never have.

… The best thing to understand about nefarious lies, webs of lies and deceit, propaganda, politicized narratives, and all the stuff we’ve been dealing with since the dawn of civilization is that we’re entering “the end times.”

So, here’s an example of where I can take a lie (Jesus is coming again, yada yada, final judgment, more yada, etc.) but actually use it to bring some clarity.

“The end times” is a fantastic metaphor for the gradual and then rapid exposure of all the main lies, the stuff human civilization is based upon. Pragmatically, you could argue that the lies were necessary because we couldn’t otherwise get to here…from there. Ironically, evasions of reality (lies) can save you, where the truth kills you. It’s not so simple. Always remember that you’re dealing with other humans, and all humans are liars (evaders of reality). Few can truly, really, unabashedly handle the truth, to quote Colonel Nathan R. Jessep.

The quote from Brownstone Institute, above, reflects this. They showed their hand and once enough fundamental stuff gets exposed as the lies they are, it’s an accelerating process. And the thing is, the only thing that can slow the process or prop it up is more lies.

The woke and left and globalists and elite are in a real fucking pickle.

… So, another attempt on Trump. What I’ve seen is what I think is lying from the right: that the guy is a leftist Democrat, maybe technically true, but lying by omission of a core essential.

I actually scanned through his X and Facebook feeds. 100% warmongering, Ukraine and Taiwan. He even took a trip to Ukraine. Smells like Neocon, to me.

… In more “stop taking knives to gunfights” news, here’s a post out just this morning by Anthony Dream Johnson who I interviewed just some days ago.

Socrates made it a point at the opening of my 2021 State of the Manosphere address to highlight that I’ve done more than anyone to expand the Overton window in the manosphere across time.

That is, to expand the range of acceptable discourse for millions of men, that has otherwise been shrinking for decades. Yes it’s okay to face the fact that women suck today. American women are fat, sterile whores, covered in tattoos, and stupid nose rings.

Qua women their grandma’s were 100x better, and therefore, we should MAKE WOMEN GREAT AGAIN.

It’s not just speakers like Elliott and general manospherians that I have this effect on either. It’s women too, or anyone who gets close to me.

Before becoming my full time baby making and milk machine, Allyssa was a radical Trump supporting chick that pissed off a lot of women.

Being around me and making babies for me has radicalized her even further beyond. Now sometimes she pisses off millions of women. It’s a beautiful thing.

In reality the effect I’m having on people automatically is one of polarization.

NPC women and Vichy male slaves are really driven nuts by this. Vichy males are exclusively beta males, and betas hate tension.

They hate conflict, they hate discomfort, they hate pain, and they hate critical confrontations.

Incidentally this is why women hate their guts. Women expect men to deal with tension and conflict so they don’t have to. Their capacity for dealing with conflict is naturally low in the first place.

So when they smell “beta pussy” they think “wtf I already have a pussy, I don’t need another one”.

What I’ve realized in other words is that one of my greatest talents is polarizing people.

Radicalizing even the radicals. The extremists.

So, how necessary will it be to FACT CHECK!!! Anthony Johnson on his quest?

For me, not at all. Why? Because he’s transparent and courageous enough, right on display, that I trust him to do the right thing.

Circling back to the beginning, if he was hush-hush and always slippery and always asking you to not say this or to never say that, would he have my trust?

No, because I’d figure he’s hiding shit for a reason.

Time for the insider member’s corner. I didn’t get to a few items from the last one, so here, I’m going to reveal a few things, the first being very revealing.

One of my gals agreed to have me publish for members only a very artsy, non-porno, tasteful B&W nude of what I call, “the best ass in Pattaya.”

I’m working on two (soon, a 3rd) very serious business ventures, but am going to save those for the next insider’s corner. I’ll outline them and eventually provide details for members only (ever) in the weeks and months to come. Both are looking fantastic and the nomadic (laptop and internet, from anywhere) angles are 100% which is an absolute. I never do anything that requires me to ever be in a specific life-sucking geographical location at a specific life-sucking time. Nor are there any minimums or maximums for time spent at work. Nor is there any important time on the clock or day of the week that’s more important than any other. 03.00 on Sunday is just as good as 09.00 on Monday if that’s what works best for you.

I do Netflix weird. I’m not much of a binger, but I have watched a few series lately and a few films. I go in cycles and stages. Haven’t watched this much in at least a year. What have I watched that’s worth watching? I lay it all out in a table with 28 specific notes, and this will save you lots of time finding what’s good because when I say it’s good, you’ll agree.
