Going all the way back to when I was a kid, the thing I remember most through all those years of growing up, through adolescence and young adulthood, into my 30s, 40s, and even my 50s, was that my life was always filled with a sense of optimism. That held true right up until about six years ago when I came to Thailand, where I still live.

But I’m not filled with optimism anymore. Haven’t been for a long time. Instead, I’ve been filled with disgust for the human race. I lay that squarely at the feet of Covid. What Covid really did was expose that at least 80% of the people on this planet are absolutely worthless.

That’s where this post begins. I’ll elaborate.
