I thought all 4 were Rat Terriers? The one looks kind of like a beagle.

What a great place for them!

Oh, that’s Hunter. He came with the property and yes, Beagle hound. Complete lover doG.

He grew up here and first thing every morning he goes out and makes sure the coyotes keep a distance by doing a perimeter barking round and my ratties back him up with barking. Prophylactic barking.

I’ve seen him chase both a pup and an adult off already.

Otherwise, they get to chase the odd jack rabbit, and try to get at the wild turkeys.

I too like the occasional wild turkey…

Hunter looks a bit skinny. Worms?

Doubtful, since his owner just complimented me today on getting his girth down (previous residents here way over fed). I feed based on activity. When way energetic, I feed a tbs or two less. When hyper energetic, a tbs or two more.

I think they know energy balance more than wee do.
