The Key To Modern Society and Political Antagonism

— The must-do-evil to be competitive perspective

Word-for-word post summary by my buddy ChatGPT-4 (logs to prove it):

Ever felt like you’re just a cog in a machine, blindly following the rules set by some ‘higher power’? Well, buckle up, buttercup, because Richard Nikoley is about to take you on a wild ride through the illusion of authority and the chaos of democracy. He’s not just stirring the pot; he’s flipping it over and setting the kitchen on fire.

In his latest post, Richard pulls back the curtain on the ‘Pollyanna view’ of modern social and political order. Spoiler alert: it’s not all rainbows and unicorns. He’s calling out the BS, questioning the so-called ‘authority’, and challenging you to do the same.

And if you think this is just another rant about the evils of government, think again. Richard’s got a knack for being right about things way ahead of others, and this time, he’s got a mind-worm video and a controversial book recommendation to back him up.

So, are you ready to free your mind and question everything you thought you knew about authority? Then head over to Free The Animal and dive into Richard’s latest post. Trust us; it’s more exciting than your favorite Netflix drama.

Most people have a Pollyanna view of modern social and political order.

They buy into the notion that democracy reigned in elite-connected power, set men relatively free, and gave them a voice in their own governance. Why, pray tell, would the elite-connected have ever allowed that? Oh, yea… “revolution” you say (what I call “shuffling shit around”).

You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it's evolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
...
You say you got a real solution
Well, you know
We'd all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well, you know
We're all doing what we can
...
You say you'll change the constitution
Well, you know
We all want to change your head
You tell me it's the institution
Well, you know
You better free your mind instead
...
But if you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao
You ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow

[Bold emphasis added.]

“The greatest trick the devil elite-connected ever pulled was convincing the world he they didn’t exist.”

Democracy is merely another ploy in a long list of ploys; whereby, individuals continue to cede their natural authority to imaginary friends. Think of it this way: democracy is just a “new and improved” product innovation demanded by the competition inherent in the merchandising and dealing of social and political power.

Most people are just default happy to believe all the lies they’ve been told since they could understand words and, just like their parents and their parents’ parents before them, repeat those lies to themselves their entire lives—but not before passing them on to their own offspring in a sort of anti-Darwinian, entropy-mitigating construction that’s effective over short periods of time, but long enough so that it makes sense to just play along over the brief lifespan of an individual human being.

The naturally enlightened few—those not dead to the voice of their own true conscience—spend an entire lifetime intimately aware of this “bug in the code.”

… One way to look at this, from an analytical perspective, is that our brains are intelligent enough to fully understand what’s going on, but they’re locked inside a walking corpse that’s not around long enough to do anything but to try and enjoy the brief time it does have.

So they do what everyone else does…which is to whistle past the graveyard, ignore it, put it out of mind, and kick the can down the road.

… Every now and then, shit gets shuffled around in these aforementioned “revolutions.” But on a longer timescale perspective, it’s just a different configuration of the same things.

You still have a bunch of evil fucks wielding power.

They’re just called different names. Different labels have been attached.

Approved!

When I say “a Pollyanna view,” I’m using a metaphor, but I’m being literal in the sense that it’s all a feel-good illusion.

All authority outside of your own mind—once you are of sufficient age and faculty to go it alone and provide for yourself—is bullshit.

There are no exceptions.

None!

Not the university professor.

Not the medical doctor.

Not the plumber.

Not your priest, his god, or any of their texts.

None of that is authority.

All of it is information.

… And so is what your favorite bar wench down at the local pub said about whatever.

Do you see and understand the difference between authority and information?

Why are there so many claims that this thing, that thing, the other thing is authoritative? Or that these people, those people, the other people over there…are authorities?

Because neither is true. None of it’s true because if it were, it would be as obvious as the authority of gravity.

The concept of “questioning authority” exists because it’s a common and natural thing to do, because way down deep, everyone knows it’s all illegitimate BS.

We don’t have much of a concept or category of “questioning gravity.” The reason is obvious. Because it’s real, demonstrably so. Fuck around only a tiny little bit, you’ll find out instanter. Big time.

But you know why you can fuck around with false authority quite a bit before it comes down on you? Because it’s protecting its aura of legitimacy. Protesting too much is a tell. So, being able, in a “democratic society,” to fuck around with authority somewhat is a form of limited hangout.

For, the stronger and more insistent the admonition; the more repeated the claim; the more threatening and condescending…

… The more it’s false, and the greater the imperative to lie and deceive.

… The deeper the bullshit.

And so the larger the effect there shall be of simply ignoring it as impotent jerking off to public witness.

That’s what they’re most afraid of. They aren’t afraid of you bringing the fight. They want that. It legitimizes them and lends a facade of importance.

Ignoring it exposes them as the pip-squeaks and clowns they are.

So to summarize, the strategy is to have everyone in consternation and antagonism all the time over binary issues. Then nobody ever questions whether the whole thing is bullshit, from soup to nuts. Implicit in the whole charade is legitimacy.

Where there is none.

… The key to understanding all of it is that: there is no legitimate authority outside yourself.

That’s an inexorable fact in motion and inviolable. Just like no lion in the jungle can act on behalf of any other…as its authority…so to can no other person be your legitimate authority.

You’ve got to cede your personhood, your individuality…your humanity.

You become a tool, and your value is measured only in how quickly and effectively you can obey and carry out your charge or orders. Like an Eichmann…the banality of evil; and its banality is evidenced by the realization that there are billions on this planet just like that.

The core thing to realize is that there in no legitimate authority outside your own integrating, rational faculty.

None. Nada. Zip.

Given any set of information (observations, facts, figures, arguments, hypotheses, theories, etc.) it matter not one bit whether that information is delivered by someone living in a mud hut, or a Nobel Prize Laureate. It’s customary to pay closer attention to the latter and some level of expertise in the subject-matter is presumed, but there is absolutely no imperative.

And what’s more, should that information prove to be falsified in terms of the hypotheses generated, then such a falsification by means of mud hut is wholly legitimate.

There simply is no such thing as authority outside our own exclusive authority over ourselves.

The whole of global governance is an enormous scam-sham to assert otherwise, and when force and coercion are used, then it becomes evil.

So to come full circle, those with the ambitions to gain and keep power as “authorities” are locked in competition with each-other over that power and its spoils.

So, further, what do you get when you have a bunch of people all over the world competing by evil means?

Do I head ah-ha!?

That’s why I’ve often said that you can’t get there from here.

You don’t have grace, beauty, love, kindness, and order spontaneously emerging from an evil “Game of Thrones.”

So, at least now you know—and I hope understand—the core irreconcilable problem at the heart of everything.

… And that you’ll never vote your way out of it.

There is no solution until enough people simply ignore authority completely. That’s all it takes.

A couple of items in closing.

  1. Get and read the download. Consciousness: The End Of Authority. I read that over 30 years ago. Jaynes’ hypotheses are as controversial as ever, but thinking in those terms has never failed me and goes a good way toward explaining my knack for being right about so many things way out in from of others.
  2. I did a little 3-minute mind-worm video to accompany this: Why All Catholic Popes Are Atheists. Of course, it’s an unfalsifiable claim. But see if it doesn’t make Occam’s-Razor sense to you.
