Y’all a bunch a suckers
— Why the blow-by-blow suspense over a shoo-in? Here’s what I think

Much of what transpires in the political arena, at least from the perspective of this blog—present company excluded—is performance art. I am acutely aware that the membership stands a cut above the average, likely because we reject the typical narratives.
In America, every four years, we witness the grand spectacle of a presidential contest. It must be framed as monumental, irrespective of its actual significance. The purported reason for this, delivered by the political elite and their sycophants, is to engage and energize the electorate…the “base,” a stupid label which can really only mean that most intransigently sycophantic among a bunch of sycophant hangers-on with no life outside the contrived “battle.” But the truth lies beneath the surface. This spectacle is a revenue-generating machine for many, from political operatives to media conglomerates. Where antagonism is stoked, real or fabricated, money flows.
Nothing changes, except to get worse and ironically, both sides believe things are worse year-on-year. What a heads-I-win-tails-you-lose shell game.
I’ll repost it. Understand that the left’s chart is nearly identical. Just swap out the uptrends and downtrends with the opposite party. Same reality, 180-degree difference of perception.

Regarding the Republican primary, let’s be clear: there was never any real contest. Donald Trump was the inevitable nominee from the moment clown-face was installed in January 2021—note the term “installed” and its implications. The outcome was a foregone conclusion; a priori knowledge requiring no effort to ascertain. It’s comical to reflect on the past year, with its desperate attempts to “protect democracy” by barring Trump from the ballot or confining him to a cell.
Many of you, my readers, are of the same mind. I receive lots of messages, none querying Trump’s chances—because it was always apparent. Had they not propped up the lying dog-faced pony soldier, perhaps there could have been a semblance of competition. As it stands, the current head of state is a global embarrassment, more laughable than any caricature of a self-awarded decorous military dictator from a banana republic.
To my American readers, be aware: we are the punchline of the world’s joke, and deservedly so. I travel and openly admit my embarrassment. When confronted with claims of America’s diminished standing, I can only concur—because honesty compels me to.
And to those Republicans still clinging to their “God and country” shtick, proclaiming America’s unrivaled greatness—wake up. You’re delusional. Your platitudes ring hollow, and your denial only compounds the farce. We must confront the reality with open eyes and full hearts, stripping away the lies we’ve been fed. Only then can we reclaim the dignity and integrity that once defined us.
That is all for now.
