A Calmer Life: Navigating the Social Media Deluge

— Something’s gotta give

Hey, it’s Richard reaching out from Pattaya, Thailand, and I’m back with some thoughts on the chaotic whirlwind that is social media. If you caught my post last month on Free The Animal, you know I’ve been chewing on how to live better in a world screaming for our attention. I’ve done a few raw, unfiltered videos since then, and I’m distilling them here into something helpful—still with my usual candor, but dialed back just enough to keep it real without torching the room. Social media’s a beast, and it’s driving us a bit mad. Let’s talk about why and how to tame it.

But if you want to watch the four raw and unfiltered (short) videos, here:

  1. More about social media and c**ts
  2. Hot Takes on Social Media
  3. Social Media Deluge
  4. Limiting Social Media Trash

… So then I had a crazy idea. I took the transcripts of all four vids, strung them together, and then worked with Grok 3 to put them in the food processor and make a pretty good meal. I use Grok like a CEO would use an executive secretary.
