The tongue-in-cheek title is for the purpose of announcing that I’ve decided to give Comments a try. To coincide with that, I’ve created a new list on the left-hand column called My Most Uncommon, which is to say, my best entries (from my point of view) going all the way back to the beginning. I’ve opened up Comments on all of those, too.

It's a paid membership blog. Most posts are free and public, but only paid members can comment. What determines whether it's free or paid is when I publish. Monday through Friday, free and public. Saturday and Sunday, for paid members. That's it. Membership info here.
Hmm, I've just added a "Sticky Posts" section too. Seems the right thing to do to keep my most important issues in plain sight. Nice looking blog. I'm here from BE and have blogmarked you. when I get a spare 2 hours, I'll run through the "review" process. HA!
I'm glad you opened comments because I have often wanted to enter into a discussion about something you have posted. It is nice to run into another optomistic rationalist, although I ping pong between that and Beckian dispair.
I hope you have some sort of comment spam protection in place.
