Honesty Revolution
Ron Paul has said that the eclectic nature of his support is due to the popularity of freedom. But listen to the comments of these University of Michigan students. Their interest seems to be in something even more fundamental: honesty. Freedom is a consequence of pursuing values in accordance with facts, reason and reality, and such values can only be earned through the honest integration of those things.
I’m sure those students are ignorant and wrong-headed about any number of things, but it appears they’re nobody’s fool when it comes to differentiating the puppets on the right and left from Paul.

Dr. Paul's support may be eclectic, but there isn't that much of it. I was once his campaign manager — New York, 1988 — and he doesn't really have the appeal his hard-core supporters would like to believe.
It's a pity. Apart from his isolationism, he'd be a fine president.
That's a bullshit smear, Francis. He's no isolationist. He just doesn't believe in international trade or diplomacy at gunpoint.
Being against preemptive attack is not isolationist. It's sane, responsible, and truly and idealistically human.
The isolationist smear isn't the only one. The problem that the Ron Paul campaign has is that it has ONLY hard-core supporters. The battle is uphill because it requires a leap of thought that most people won't make.
We don't have, and can't seem to acquire, the hanger-ons that Rude and Fred seem to acquire. There aren't any 'soft' supporters of Ron Paul.
The silver lining here is, there aren't any 'soft' supporters of Ron Paul. The grassroots is massive because it incorporates an extraordinarily large proportion of his followers. Winning is possible in spite of the uphill battle due to the dedication of those who have understood the philosophies involved.
