I've always chalked this up to inertia – the fact that the major movers are comfortable in the fat is bad mantra and are slow to change to a new paradigm until the evidence is overwhelming. Well, the evidence is close to overwhelming, and still not a peep.

I'm beginning to think it's in a lot of people's interest to keep everyone fat, slow, sick, and stupid.

I'm with you. Last night, since I am on my own for a few days, I went to Fuddruckers for one of the best 1/2# burgers I have had in a long time, good milkshake too and, you can also upgrade from a soda to a beer. They also have a 3/4# burger. And, they make it to order to any temperature you like, and you add your own condiments from a huge selection. Wow, I might go back tonight for another one.
