I like Chris from Zen Fitness’ tip to do an intense work out as soon as you awake. I like to have a breakrest (rather than a breakfast) first thing in the morning. I’ve been doing that for years for some of the same reasons he stated: I can fit a workout into that time period before I get too busy in the day, I connect with my surroundings and feel refreshed and awake afterward, etc. I DON’T set my alarm to wake me up for my workout, I wait until I wake up naturally and then workout. Mark made this point via the story of Mrs. Korg in his Primal Blueprint.
