Beautiful Anarchy: Even Fucking Ducks Know More Than Obama, his Stupid Bitch, House, Senate, Supremes, Statehouses, County Supervisors and City Councils…Put Together

 …And more than most parents

That video demonstrates everything about how beautiful natural order can be, and in contrast, why I hate the way it’s being destroyed at fundamental levels—and if you’re too stupid to fully understand what I mean, then you’re too stupid.

For years I’ve been telling folks that I prefer the company of chickens. Of course it goes without saying the human race can neither hold a candle to ducks.

The herd votes its way into devolution. No victims found. “Hurry Up And Die” bumper stickers should be issued.

Woodchuck, ducks are much nicer than chickens.

      Now geese, well, watch out.

      gabkad,

I’ve never met a duck. Seen a lot of them ’round my neck of the woods, but never raised any. My wife is captivated by the sight of them. I’m sure the future will find some ducks on our farm.

Geese can be downright mean. There was a few pairs nested at the Home Depot, and they traveled ‘cross field to mishandle customers. I kind of liked them for that (misanthrope I am).

Thanks for the encouragement. I look forward to reinstating livestock next year. However that will require opportunity cost of not wintering in Arizona. Someday never comes. I need to clone myself or give up some dreams.

Have a very nice evening. It’s gorgeous weather here in upstate NY. Hope you got somethin’ nice goin’ on.

Humans really do need to develop some awareness of animals like geese. Maybe it’s just me, but these critters are never a problem.

One time I noticed a family crossing a three lane road on my way home. I thought, shit, they’ll get run over by some freaking blind entitled asshole. So I slowed down, put on my flashers and moved lanes slowly blocking the lane as the geese walked from one lane to the next. Mom, dad, and 5 goslings made it across safely. I felt good that the whole family made it across alive.

      gabkad,

Last autumn we drove to the Bloomsburg, PA Fair. Traveling down the highway we saw close to a dozen wild turkeys crossing ahead of us, and we slowed down proactively to afford following traffic plenty of time to respond in kind. Alas the idiot behind us laid on the horn in long blasts despite not even being close to us, and with nobody following close behind him. It’s hard to believe the turkeys were not visible to him as well, given the distance they walked across the lanes, and the sheer number of them. The horn blaring continued even after the turkeys crossed safely and traffic speed was returned to 55mph. A short distance later we turned into a roadside gas station and parked. The offending driver blared the horn again as he passed by. I would have loved it if he had chosen to visit me in the parking. But his stereotypical behavior is almost always married to cowardice. It’s been a long time since I was invited to force correction upon a glaring misconception of self importance, but I’m always willing to help.

Weren’t you coddling them? I mean, if they can’t navigate the world they live in, which includes roads with cars, without your charity, shouldn’t they perish, as they are clearly not fit enough to make it?

Also, please note that the mother duck did not leave any of her ducklings behind to die helplessly because they couldn’t make it past an obstacle. Would she have? Maybe but I doubt it.

By the way I love ducks and geese too. Although geese do crap all over parks and fields so it’s not as though they are totally benign.

I coddle what I eat. I purposely run over woodchucks when the opportunity presents itself. Crows gotta eat. I’ll eat a woodchuck if I can shoot it.

I do not coddle useless eaters, neither does any species in nature. Neither am I inclined to impede anyone preparing themselves for slaughter.

When something/someone initiates force against me, I swat it down, and sometimes move away from the next attack. Is this the common sense you were fishing for? The truth does not offend. The goal of your post is either sarcasm or something less useful.

If you drive at speed over a big bird, the feathers will get into your fanbelt and all over the inside of the engine. Can result in some problems afterwards. So it’s better to avoid these situations.

    • Woodchuck Pirate on June 3, 2014 at 10:33

      gabkad,

Yes, anyone indiscriminately traveling at 55mph, trying to run over 30 pound turkey(s) which typically lift into air when closed in on, may experience a rude awakening. Turkeys may plummet when dropped from a WKRP helicopter, but they are capable of flying through a windshield.

A smashed up turkey embedded with headlamp glass and grill parts is not very good eating.

Regarding ducks, geese, birds etc in city environments, they simply share the same fate as civilization (not sustainable). I do not advocate pet ownership in town at all. In kind I do not approve of bird feeders in the country which weaken the wild population(s).

My wife keeps cats in our village home and refuses to let them outside (where neighbors hate to be annoyed by them as well). Pets belong in the country with access to woods, where they share exposure to coyotes whose main diet is field corn and grasshoppers. My wife insists on imprisonment for these cats. A slow and immoral death.

Altruism remains the philosophy of death. The so-called do-gooders of the world would expire but for the statist generosity of force funding their agenda. It’s amusing to watch them now having run out of other people’s money, effectively turning the gov’t gun upon themselves. Cannibals eating cannibals, the new normal. None of them very good eating I bet.

Even the mention of “Obama” makes my blood boil, because back in the 1870’s when his ancestors and mine were both share-cropping in Southern Mississippi there was an end-of-the-harvest dance where my great-great grandmother was treated like vermin because she dared to express doubt about the value of federal currency.

For that I can never forgive Obama.

Speaking of mother nature, here’s a Jack Russell dog that seems to have managed to build and operate a ball throwing machine: lifestyle.ninemsn.com.au/viralvideo/414693/engineer-dog-plays-fetch-by-himself.glance

Going by the surrounding statues it appears the dog is a very creative wood carver also!

Why do we need government? I mean, left alone, without government, people would voluntarily come together and form agreements which stipulate that if they ever have disagreements, that they will follow certain specific protocols in order to resolve them. Hell, they would also even appoint certain people to be responsible for remembering those protocols and – throughout the process – reminding everyone that those were the agreed upon protocols. Government? Totally unnecessary.

    • Richard Nikoley on June 2, 2014 at 21:23

      MeThinks

In ancient Iceland, they had law, but there was a “reader of the law.”

Every year, he had to recite it from memory. What he didn’t remember, was no longer the law.

    • MeThinks on June 2, 2014 at 21:46

Well shit, they should have written things down. But even then, I guess people could just ignore those things. How about this then: how about in addition to writing everything down, you also make it so that people who enter into these agreements aren’t allowed to go back on them. Make it part of the agreement that if they do go back on any part of it, they can be punished.

Building stairs outside where they become obstacles for ducklings is a form of discrimination. We need to outlaw the outdoor step, and replace them with ramps.

I was waiting for a huge Tyson foods truck to come along and mow them all down once they reached the top.
