I Deleted My Facebook Account For the 2nd Time. Three Times Would Make a Fool.

Facebook is not a healthy experience. I’ve tested it twice.

Since Covid killed my Cabo San Lucas vacation-rental business in 2021, this is my day job. I can't do it without you. Memberships are $10 monthly, $20 quarterly, or $65 annually. Two premium coffees per month. Every membership helps finance this work I do, and if you like what I do, please chip in. No grandiose pitches.

I loved reading your FB posts, and always looked forward to your getting out of FB jail. I do miss your free-flowing and wide-ranging content, and hope you at least post here. I’ve learned a lot, gotten “less wrong” as I go, and feel like I need more of that in my life.

I nuked my FB recently. I could not stand to see beloved people from my childhood with their asses and idiocy hanging out in the wind. Decided to focus my time and energy on biological family right here, in my face :)

We are working on pulling out of Oregon as it has become a giant FB experience. Moving to the woods in Idaho by next spring – it feels safer and cleaner there. The whole family, 4 gens strong is going. Tiny tribe, I suppose.

good for you. I used to spend way too much time on Facebook too. leaving my phone in the car while I’m at work helped a lot. looking forward to more blog posts. I still read your old blog posts on health and nutrition. it’s amazing how you would change/adopt new positions over the years as you come across new information as oppose to doubling down on your previous position
