Who Will It Be on Nov 5th, 2024?
Soo easy to call

I’ve written on this blog for quite some time that I’ve got a knack for predicting presidential races in America. My track record goes all the way back to the 1976 showdown between Ford and Carter.
But the first time I became aware of these political circuses, I was just a seven-year-old kid during the 1968 race between Hubert Humphrey and Richard Nixon. I remember my father watching the election results roll in, while I stood there wondering what the hell it was all about. That was my first little taste of politics.
By 1972, Nixon was still the man of the hour, winning re-election against McGovern and I recall that so well because my hippie school bus driver had a McGovern bumper sticker on the school bus and I laughed and mocked him at the age of 11. Even then, I knew fucktards when I saw them.
But I was blissfully unaware of what was brewing beneath the surface when came the Watergate hearings—a full-on political soap opera. By then, I was about 12 or 13 years old, out on a job with dad in Yerington, Nevada. My dad and I were painting a National Guard armory, and in our downtime, we were glued to the TV in the motel room—between french dip sandwiches down at the diner—watching this scandal unfold. That’s when my political awareness started to take shape.
And what a mess it was. Nixon resigned, the Vice President moved up to the top spot because Spiro Agnew had already been ousted due to his own scandal. So, we got Ford—a president who never even stood for an election at a presidential level. He was an alright guy, but let’s face it, not exactly presidential material. This was proven when, in 1976, Reagan lost the primaries to Ford because Republicans are so fucking stupid—Ford was an obviously poor choice to go up against Carter.
I was all over that. A big Reagan fan from a young age, I couldn’t believe the stupidity of choosing Ford. Then I started watching political ads on TV and saw the energy behind the peanut farmer. I had this gut feeling—Carter was going to win it, and he did.
He just turned 100 years old. Fucking as dull as ever… I digress.
Fast-forward to 2020 and the madness that ensued. The Covid wild card allowed the Democratic cheating machine to run amok. From day one, I called it out for what it was—bullshit. There was no way Biden, who couldn’t fill a drive-in theater with his rallies, got more votes than any presidential candidate in history, including Black Jesus and Bill Clinton. Ridiculous. Even insiders knew this election didn’t pass the State Department’s sniff test for legitimacy that they use for fucking 3rd world countries. Yet, you had to genuflect, swear the election was legit, or get nowhere. That’s how the game is played. Fight another day, but don’t question the past.
Trump won that 2020 election, but it was all smoke and mirrors. Now, as for the 2024 election—he’s not just going to win; it’s going to be a landslide. Mark my words. Every election cycle, media outlets and polling places play the same game. They’re all in cahoots, making it look like a close race for two reasons: one, to keep people from thinking it’s a done deal and staying home; two, to keep the contest alive, so media buys for political ads remain lucrative. Being energized is the name of the game. It’s all about money, turnout, and enthusiasm—not news or polling. Trump is going to trounce her. Now, let’s take a stroll down memory lane and dig into some history.
… Do you remember how nail-bitingly close the 1984 presidential election between Ronald Reagan and Walter Mondale was? Remember what an astonishing politician Mondale was, how he was going to reshape everything into a utopia once he got elected? Yeah, right.
Here’s a bit of personal history for you. This was the first time in my life I felt a visceral certainty about what was going to happen, and I was on the money. I was a college student at Mount Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon, back then. I had a cool gig at Schucks Auto Supply—a serious auto parts house with shelves in the back loaded with parts for every car imaginable. This was when real men worked on their own cars. Glorious times.
The shop’s makeup was disfunctionally interesting. The manager and the crew were basically a bunch of hippies—Oregon lefties who had reached the pinnacle of their professional lives working in auto parts. Picture this: I’m a young 20-year-old college student, neck-deep in mathematics, computer science, and physics, surrounded by these guys 10 to 15 years my senior. Naturally, I gave them shit. Especially about politics. They were sure Reagan couldn’t get re-elected in ’84 because-because, bullshit bullshit bullshit. I was dealing with fucktards. But I told them straight: people vote their pocketbooks and the economy was going swimmingly, especially in contrast to Carter’s disaster.
There I was, a 20-year-old smartass college kid, telling these 30-somethings they didn’t know jack about how people operate.
Here’s the kicker: I got fired from that job under some flimsy pretense, but moved on to Oregon State and then onto my Navy career two years later. But even before Reagan won reelection in 1984, months after I graduated and moved on, it was clear what was coming well before. I’d occasionally stop by that store and ask the dummies, “Still think Reagan’s gonna lose?” Yes, I am given to gloating and rubbing it in. No mercy. No quarter. Stupid is stupid. Make them feel it.
The bottom line: Ronald Reagan’s victory in 1984 was the biggest landslide in modern U.S. election history. He won 49 states; Mondale snagged only his home state, Minnesota.
525 electoral votes to 13.
What am I getting at? We’re about to see something similar. Maybe not Reagan-level, but significant nonetheless. The political map is so skewed now—blue Democrats cramped in urban centers, red Republicans spread out. It would take a miracle to flip states like California and New York, but something monumental is on the horizon.
As for cheating? The Democrats know what’s coming. The risk of deploying the cheat machine is too high because the margin will be too vast to cover up. This is probably what happened in Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton in 2016—they rolled out the cheat machine but didn’t cheat enough. They were overconfident. It would be wiser, this time around, to risk nothing, let it play out, and then perhaps find some way to develop a decent candidate for 2028. Someone better than the men’s underwear model now presiding over the most disastrous State administration in the history of America…
… You know what? The best possible race would have been RFK Jr. vs. Trump.
Now RFK Jr. is Trump’s alley, as is Elon Musk.
For 2 decades, I’ve called the Democrats the Evil Party and the Republicans the Stupid Party. As much as anything and everything has flipped over the last eight or so years with first, Brexit, then Trump 2016, then Russiagate, TDS, impeachment, Covidiocy, etc, etc., the Democrats are outdoing the Republicans in stupid and really the Evil Party are the Neocons, made up of both Democrats and Republicans.
I LOLed at this X post by actor James Woods, with a single comment, “fried.” You have to click on each one to partake of the monumental and you might need to see it on X. Mind boggling. This is a candidate for President of the United States of America.
Laughingstock city. Clown-car circus world.
Not to be outdone, actor Mel Gibson rings in. “IQ of a fence post.”
One last thing.
A middle finger. Tucker Carlson introducing Trump at a rally.
That whole X thread from Vigilant Fox is worth the gander.
My sincerest hope is that all of you on the right side of this will mock and berate everyone on the wrong side of it come November 6th. Mercilessly. Even your own stupid mother, father, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, friend, or co-worker.
No quarter. No mercy.
Make them feel stupid and fucktarded.
Make them lose sleep.

Always appreciate your election takes, Richard. I agree, mostly. “Beyond the margin of cheating” is key. I live in a red state (FL) in a county with 2 to 1 ratio of registered republicans to Dems, but due to a collective fear of social condemnation, I am one of only 3 homes in my community with Trump signs in my yard. I’m not MAGA. I hated Trump for handing the keys to government to Fauci and for still promoting Warp Speed nonsense. But the leftist/neocon clown show has to be opposed.
Hey Tim, I’m in Ocala. I’m surprised you called us a red state. Every election we seem to teeter on the edge. Especially south of me. Which makes me sad as I grew up in the St Pete/Tampa area and spent a good chuck of adulthood there. As they say, “South Florida is Yankee, North Florida is The South.” Granted the overall awesomeness of DeSantis, I hope, has solidified things more in our favor.
Just south of you in Lake County, Ron. Florida being red refers to now having 1 million more registered Republicans than Democrats (in large part due to in-migration during DeSantis years). However, even here, we are under attack (note the $140 million of outside money that has gone into Amendment 4 – anytime abortion, without parental consent, from non-doctors). The left is evil, but they know how to fight and fight dirty.
Yes, but the devious fucks are still devious fuckers and will try anything to win. One scenario is they fortify the election for the republicans then scream cheaters when the results are announced and get the election over turned.
Eddie, I saw this today.

But if you can convince people that you’re up against Literally Hitler, they will always be Good Germans.
These people are aliens, not even terrestrial. There was another one of those creatures in the VigilantFox thread; funny how they reveal themselves when their moral clocks fall off.

Carter writes eloquently about their breeding grounds:

It’s stunning Democrats thought they could get this moron across the finish line, especially after her 2020 humiliation. Her campaign was doing so poorly she had to drop out before Iowa.
Meanwhile, Trump gave an impressive performance on Rogan. Diving deep into the issues, telling interesting (and infuriating) stories about how our government and its special interests work.
I cannot even envision Harris being 1/10th as authentic in any context as Trump is here.
