[Weird Diet Wrap-Up — One Single Rule]
I am very dead serious that this series revolves around one single rule. Throughout this series, I’ve kept my comments and posts fairly short because, frankly, there’s not much more to say about it. This is truly a one-rule diet, which makes it the simplest and most effective diet you could ever follow.
The simplicity of this approach is precisely why very few people will ever be interested in it. Here’s why: we live within an industry that thrives on diet management, not cure. The word “management” implies perpetual care, not resolution. It means there’s always another problem to solve, more complexity to unravel, because the diet industry needs to keep you engaged, coming back for more solutions, more products, more advice.
It’s like the financial world in the old days. If you wanted to invest in public companies, you’d go through a stockbroker. You might get some stock tips, call up your broker, and place your order. But there wasn’t much management involved back then. Fast forward to the age of mutual funds and financial managers. These guys make money based on “assets under management.” Their job isn’t to make you rich; it’s to keep as much money in their funds as possible because they earn a percentage of that total, regardless of performance.
This is the same mindset in the diet industry. They don’t want to solve your problem; they want to manage it, indefinitely. The incentive is to ensure your dietary issues persist, so they can keep selling you their “management” solutions.
For me, the ideal business model has always been about solving problems, not managing them. If you’re in a service-oriented sector, your goal should be to solve the problem so efficiently that your client no longer needs you. That’s the kind of service I aim to provide with this diet rule. It’s not about keeping you hooked on endless management; it’s about giving you the tools to be done with it, move on, and live your life.
But here’s the kicker: in an industry where money is made from managing problems, not solving them, simplicity is the enemy. That’s why this one-rule diet, while incredibly effective, will never be popular. Because if everyone followed it, who would need all the diet books, the supplements, the classes, the diet camps
IT’S ALL SO MUCH FUN!!!
This is not just about eating; it’s about cutting through the bullshit of a system designed to keep you in a cycle of dependency. So, if you’re ready to step out of that cycle, embrace the simplicity, and take control of your health, this one-rule diet is for you. But remember, by adopting this approach, you’re not just challenging your own habits; you’re challenging an entire industry built on complexity and perpetual management.
And to the diet management industry: I’m here to put myself out of business, one satisfied, self-sufficient person at a time.
Now to the particulars…
