I’ve been pretty pre-occupied with this. I want to roll it out ASAP for the membership and as I’ve said many times, I don’t read logs unless there’s an issue I need to know about and fix, or someone asks me to.

It’s rare.

Now and then, I just scroll through the logs and I’m very gratified to see more and more people using it. That was my goal. It’s working. So I’m bound and determined to improve it for you.

What you have now, Grok2, is a mid-level AI that excels in some things and is lesser in others.

Grok3 is a sea change and in randomized blind tests, has been kicking ass against all other AI models, including ChatGPT (latest and greatest…they have many variants now…Grok3 can beat them all).

The release is coming out in tranches and I have had access via my X premium account for nearly a day and have been testing it.

Here are three chosen things to give you a taste. First of all, Grok3 has 2 new optional modes. You can let it just do its thing, or, 1) you can ask it to DeepSearch, which is 10,000 Googles on steroids…Google is dead. 2) you can ask it to Think, which is simply giving it more time.

A couple of days ago, I asked Grok2 to tell me about myself. It’s good. Reads like a resume or biography.

This morning, I asked Grok3 the same, only I kinda compromised the test by authorizing it to inject humor. Much more colorful and human. For me, it reads a bit like ChatGPT4 with all my seed prompts. I use none with Grok. It’s already unwoke by default.

One more, and this is very esoteric so if not interested in the subject matter, you might be interested to see what it can do on a wild ass subject. What’s the different between truth and honesty?

… In others, I tested out DeepSearch so far that I had it look up archived websites from the 1990s that have not been live for more than 25 years. I got back PhD historian level stuff in less than 30 seconds.

And you still have increasingly clownish naysayers, signalling that they’re only about maintaining a faux aura of authority. Nobody has authority over the facts of reality. Only reality does and it plays no favorites.

Get on board. You can learn a lot (or correct yourself a lot) in minutes, and it’s only accelerating. And if for nothing else, children all go through a stage where they think their parents stupid. It’s natural. Well, soon, they’re probably going to be right—unless you embrace AI along with them, and learn together.

As a bonus, I did one more with Grok3 on Think mode. It took 15 seconds.

Give me a synopsis of the “red-pilled” “manosphere” vs. the feminist “woke” ideal vs. an ideal that male and female humans have different natures and different goals.
