Outsized Israel
I start this post with a quick personal update: My gal is finally on her way back in the van after being gone for a month. She’s been tending to her house, her massive fruit tree orchard, family stuff, and the whole neighborhood drama. I’m genuinely stoked about it—beats solo life in Pattaya, Thailand, any day.
Before she split, she hit me: “Richard, you need to keep the house at least a little clean while I’m gone.” I nodded and said okay, but let’s be real—this is Pattaya, a playground of temptations for any guy whose woman’s out of town. Opportunities to stray? They’re everywhere, like street food stalls. That put me in a hilarious bind. I glanced at the white tile floor, littered with shed hairs—y’know, the kind people drop naturally. I thought to myself, if I sweep this spotless before she rolls in after that brutal 18- or 20-hour drive, she’ll notice right away. “Oh, you swept the floor? Why the sudden domestic urge?” Suspicion city. She’d probably assume I was covering up evidence of some long, black hairs from a visitor. So, screw it—I’m leaving it as is. That way, all she’ll see is my short brown-and-gray fuzz. “Mine, of course,” I can say with a straight face. Crisis averted, no questions asked.
But that ties into this absurd little perk of life in Thailand: Almost every girl here rocks long, black hair. It’s like a national uniform. So, if you do end up with stray strands on the floor, and your wife or gal spots ’em? Piece of cake to play dumb. “Oh, those? Must be yours, babe.” Total plausible deniability. Ain’t that just the cherry on top of paradise?
…Now for an interlude before I move on. The subject of this post is the outside influence of the state of Israel—and indeed of Judaism—since I was a kid. For sure, it went on for decades before that. I got wind of it when I was like six or seven or eight years old, something like that. I was like, why? Why is Israel? Why is everyone talking about Israel in the news all the time? And then, you know, I learned that the whole entire state is the size of damn New Jersey. I’ll give you a clue not one person in one hundred will truly understand in full context.

Do you ever hear a Christian speak who integrates anything close to that level of deep understanding? No, you do not. Christians pretend that the traditions of Judaism are just Kumbaya shit when, in fact, Judaism existed 2K years before Christianity, about as long now, as Christianity has been a thing. To fail to integrate these basic realities and account for them, makes everyone fucktarded.
I’m going to get into what I think. I’m not anti-Semitic (a fucktarded term) or anything like that at all. But what this is today is a post I’m publishing on Sunday. As I said, there’s no rhyme or reason to it. I have no thinking whatsoever that “oh, this is for paying members” or “this is for free.” It only depends on whether I publish it Monday through Friday, where it’s free and open for everybody, or whether I publish it on Saturday or Sunday, where it’s behind the paywall. There’s no rhyme or reason—it’s just luck of the draw.
So with that, I’m going to talk about what I think of President Trump’s—and indeed the whole entire Arab world’s, the entire Arab Muslim world’s—take on the newest peace deal. And I’m gonna make a distinction: It’s not a peace plan. It’s a peace deal. So he still has to seal the deal, but it’s looking very good. And maybe that will be a benefit to the rest of the world, where this outside bullshit for decades has been sucking all the air out of all the rooms all the time.
