Elon Musk: First Trillionaire, Biggest Target

I loathe stupid people and fucktards.

So I knew the news was coming, but I saw it today while scrolling through Elon Musk’s platform X. Everyone moaning about his trillionaire status is posting there—how ironic is that? I figured I’d do a post. It’s Sunday, so it’d be members-only, paywalled. I scrolled down and something stood out as genuinely heartwarming: how many people came out of the woodwork to congratulate and celebrate what Elon pulled off.

Then you’ve got the usual suspects—the Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren core—who’ve never created a damn thing in their lives, never signed a paycheck for anyone, never done anything of value. It’s all envy and resentment, and I’ll give you the clue as to why. Elon’s personal wealth cracking a trillion means he’s now competing with a lot of governments around the world. He’s bigger than plenty of them. He’s tweeted before about aiming for over ten trillion in personal wealth, and I think he’ll get there. That puts one man individually more valuable than most states on the planet.

What do states do? They coerce through taxation. Who does Elon force to pay him? No one. That’s starting to register with people. Elon and his companies can scale to the size of a government without a single tax. Every penny that comes in is voluntary because he delivers value.

I’m shifting gears here. I’ve been thinking about this stuff the same way for more than thirty years. I have to pinch myself that the view I held from the beginning is being borne out right now.
