From Squalor to Luxury Part III

I’ll skip the AI-generated image this time and just put this up on a lark. A surprise showed up yesterday here in Thailand. A truck rolled in with a literal ton—probably more—of metal framing material to kick off the the second story going on the small house that’ll serve as office and man cave. My gal’s apparently anxious for me to have the space, so she paid for it without a word. Roughly $1,250 worth of steel now sits on site, and the crew is already here tearing off the old roof. That metal gets salvaged for a carport out front once we pour the concrete.

It’s a big project, and I’m fine if it doesn’t interest you.

In the prelude to the video I mentioned this pest of a fake doctor—some chiropractor—and you can see the rest in the video. He’s been a goddamn nuisance for the entire six and a half years I’ve lived here. I cut him off three separate times and eventually relented, only for him to become intolerable again. On one of my recent videos he left a comment quoting Anthony Colpo. I already covered that. Colpo is mentally deranged, riddled with Trump TDS, and swallows every conspiracy theory that floats past. I spent six weeks with the man day after day and saw none of it until he got back home. Then the fear set in—afraid of pussy, afraid of motorbikes, afraid of Thailand itself. Same as this fake doctor. Two of a kind.

I wasn’t thinking of either of them when I wrote those recent posts on agency, but that’s exactly what we’re dealing with. I don’t give a fuck what they think. I tried to be decent. When Colpo asked for help I set him up with a condo, lined him up with a visa agent, drove him to the supermarket every week, and took him out for drinks and whatever else. He gets back to Australia and trashes me on his stupid blog that barely has any paying members.

Anyway, here’s the video. I’m getting to work on the second story of the other building. This is about getting shit done.

Expect more from me. Not too little, not too much. I’ll mix in thoughts on current events from time to time.
