The Unimaginable

— Imagine It Anyway

An open letter to myself.

The problem with you is that you always arrive late on the scene of opportunity, and this lateness is primarily rooted in your lack of imagination. You consistently fail to visualize possibilities, obstructing your own path to success. Not once, but twice you missed that one big thing; and what about all the others where you had sufficient information to imagine, act, and take a risk?

And what of that one big failure, big and fast? Hopes, actions, and reactions…no solid envisioned imagination of the endpoint of lasting success.

Why did you miss all this stuff? Because you couldn’t envision the potential it held, you couldn’t see the transformative power it concealed within its “too-complicated” workings.

Similarly, you missed out on the chance to become the best in the world at that other thing, not because you lacked physical prowess or discipline, but because you never allowed yourself to imagine such an outcome. The world is filled with stories of champions, visionaries, and pioneers who first saw their victories and accomplishments in their minds before they manifested them into reality.

Every invention that has transformed the world, every creation that has redefined our existence, was first conceived in the minds of individuals or teams who dared to imagine. They dared to see the power and potential of their ideas before they even existed.

Remember that one time in 1992, down nearly to your last few bucks with rent approaching, no job, just a computer, printer, fax machine, and phone? What did you do? Remember…you got wind of a thing, made a single phone call for minimal due diligence, and you put down almost half of all the money you had left?

Your imagination and vision was about all you had. And what happened? You executed on that vision over the space of a weekend and had your first client and retainer on Monday afternoon…of what would become thousands of clients managed by dozens of employees with millions of dollars coming in for the next 20 years.

Why have you never repeated that feat on any other thing since?

But now, finally, you are fully utilizing the potential of Artificial Intelligence to the best of your abilities, which are substantial, and in the space of months you have already shot ahead of 99% of all other humans on the planet, most of whom are completely unaware, running scared, or hiding from AI.

Why?

Because you initially tried the mocking, dismissive, naysayer approach, but you had just enough imagination bugging you to explore it a bit deeper. And that’s when you began to fully appreciate the magnitude of wealth and power that it can put at your disposal, and your pursuit became a tireless endeavor of sleep deprivation and computer-system integration you hadn’t even thought about for over 2 decades.

You immediately tapped into your imagination and envisioned the possibilities, understood clearly the profundity of how AI is going to revolutionize the world and how it will empower you to command riches once again. You already see it happening and the path forward is so clear.

You imagine owning a substantial piece of a new reality, perhaps even a whole new universe. You see it.

You can almost touch it.

You know how to get there.

You know and understand with clarity and certainty all the ways in which such a reality will transform your life. It’s all about the imagination, about seeing the unseen, about believing in the unbelievable.

Imagining the unimaginable.

Finally, you’re playing something exactly right and exactly how you should.

How many will learn from you?
