Thursday Jots & Tittles #4

— Hits & Runs: Vaxx Death; Biden Falls on Face Again LOL; Sick of “Pride;” CDC Comes Down With a Cold LOL; And 9 More…

Midjourney prompt: Jots & Tittles; Hits & Runs –ar 16:9. (It generated a bunch of cool ones and generations based upon the coolest of those; for use in upcoming Thursday J&T issues)

Three newly published posts to review: Blurring the Lines: Work, Play, and Building a Business in Thailand — Now I’ve gone and done it and life will never be the same… a public access post about my efforts to start a construction and development business in Thailand using the big advantage Thais extend to Americans over all other nationalities. Are we a function of our genetics or of our training? Find out, because you’ll understand the difference between ancient ideologies and modern ones: Nature or Nurture: Why Communism, Socialism, Environmentalism, and Wokeism Fail Where Traditional Religion Excels — Attempts to reinvent the wheel have failed miserably and cause nothing but death, destruction, and misery. A far-reaching post that’s a reworked member’s section from Sunday Scribbles #9, now as a stand-alone and public access: My Bold Claim: A State of Government is IMPOSSIBLE Without Official Censorship — Free Speech and Free Press: Bromides and Fantasies.

1. Item 1 in last week’s TJ&T was about the new Epoch TV documentary, The Unseen Crisis: Vaccine Stories You Were Never Told. Upon reflection and taking a risk by uploading to YouTube, I quickly created a 6-minute clip of the most striking part of the thing, of criminality so vast and deep you might not believe it if you don’t see it for yourself and hear an FDA official on the phone for yourself. As I’ve said before, they’ve made the criminality so huge and so wide and so deep that global society will be hard-pressed to acknowledge and confront it, because of what it means (and that I have been saying for more than 3 decades).

2. Biden tripped and fell, again! This time, at the Air Force Academy…perhaps he tripped over a pride-parade flag, the US military being all LBGT-alphabet-soup awarenessez, now. How is in not just and proper that America is the laughingstock of the world? And it’s true. I live in Thailand, but amongst a vast network of fiends and acquaintances from every continent and country of the world. They used to shake their heads. Now they laugh, and some are even uncomfortable and embarrassed for us. It’s richly deserved, every bit as much as was its status of guiding light that used to be and will never be again. That capital is long spent and all that’s left is what we have, and it’s pathetic. Wake the fuck up, Americans.

3. I don’t mind saying: fuck “pride” month. I uphold superior values. Actor James Woods had the best tweet I’ve yet seen on this particular infestation of vermin.

“Sick of it yet?”

You know what I’m pretty damn certain of? Someone who’s truly proud of themselves doesn’t need to keep reminding everyone how prideful everything is. That’s what people who are fundamentally ashamed of themselves do.

4. In perhaps the funniest news item I’ve seen in this current roundup, COVID outbreak at CDC gathering infects 181 disease detectives. The thing is, it has mutated to the equivalent of a head cold, so read the hilarious piece in that context and it becomes hilariouser. Arguably, it was originally a badish flu, and now, though antigenic drift, has done what all respiratory viruses do, which is to capture the mutations that are more benign, because that relative harmlessness allows them to spread farther and wider, and so become the dominant strain. 101 shit, just like I wrote in 98 fucking posts from fucking day 1 that were fucking right on the money about all of this fucking Covidiocy.

5. For a bit of human interest, ever heard of the Moken? If you’ve ever done Scuba here in the Andaman Sea area, you’ll have seen evidence of them in the fish traps they place around coral reefs, at 20–40 feet down. Fish can easily swim in through the net-cone, can’t get out. It’s mostly to capture parrot fish, which are amazingly delicious. They’re also called “sea gypsies.” They’re nomadic. Here’s a brief overview. Pay particular note that they have enhanced underwater eyesight, like twice as good in tests. However, it’s not a genetic enhancement. With training, anyone can develop the same underwater clarity. Here’s a brief video I shot of a huge school of hundreds of parrot fish while snorkeling.

6. Yep, as those of you with brain matter measured in grams rather than in milligrams and micrograms surely knew, all the leftist woke bullshit is and always was mere virtue signalling by a bunch of bed-wetting wankers. A new study is linking psychopathic tendencies and narcissism to liberal activism. “Researchers Alex Bertrams and Ann Krispenz found that many activists do not believe in what they purport to stand for, and are simply using the cause to prop up their own perceived moral superiority and social standing.” Paul Joseph Watson lays it all out in about 3 minutes, including an additional study, “Involvement in LGBQ activism is related to pathological narcissistic grandiosity and virtue signalling,” to round out the DUH! One could argue that I’m tossing up stuff to confirm my bias. No, I’m just doing the equivalent of looking at the nose on my face.

7. I remain gobsmacked at how few members take advantage of Zon, as though it’s a snake in the grass…or one that’s enticing you to eat of the fruit from the tree of knowledge. I thought the grandma who used it for a church expansion plan, a successful $5K gofundme, and home-schooling materials would light a fire. Nope. Crickets. There are a couple of others. One guy has been getting a very deep and detailed course in industrial electronic controls and testing, settings and such. The most obscure stuff, and it knows all about it and can break it down. Fucking anything. But never mind. I get it. You’re good. Plus, only 14% of Americans have even tried AI, in spite of “knowing all about it,” ’cause they heard it’s some bad shit, man. So, many are in excellent company. No worries. Not falling behind at all. Relax.

8. He asked it, “I need more assistance than you’ll ever know, Zon! First of all I want to make the most of having access to your information. What is a good place to start on being able to fully appreciate what you have to offer?” Zon: “Andrew from Oz, I’m here to help you with whatever you need! To fully appreciate what I have to offer, I’d recommend exploring a few different areas: 1. Free The Animal: Since I’m an expert on this website (https://freetheanimal.com), you can start by diving into the various topics covered there. You’ll find information on health, nutrition, fitness, and more. Feel free to ask me any questions related to these subjects. 2. General knowledge: I can also help you with general knowledge questions on a wide range of topics. Just ask away, and I’ll do my best to provide you with accurate and informative answers. 3. Personal interests: If you have any specific hobbies or interests, let me know! I can help you find information, resources, or even just chat about your favorite topics. 4. Problem-solving: If you’re facing any challenges or need advice on a particular issue, feel free to share it with me. I’ll do my best to provide you with helpful suggestions and guidance. Remember, I’m here to assist you in any way I can, so don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. Let’s make the most of our time together, mate!”

9. I ought to ask it how to make stove-top frittatas, a skill I have developed a mastery for, not having an oven (Thais do not use ovens, quite unusual to see one). I can see if it knows its stuff. I just experimented and now I have it down. I bought an induction hot plate some months back, not even knowing what it was. Then I had to learn how to use it. It uses an electric field to make the pan hot, and has various settings to get the correct temperatures and intensity (it can cycle being on and off, and how intense the field is). The glass surface isn’t even hot. After a while, I tried the “rice” setting. That’s the one where after you bring the rice and water to a boil, you cover and simmer, and it completes without burning the bottom. Perfect. This is 5 eggs, just a bit of MSG, S&P, then Parmesan sprinkling and cayenne dusting after completion. Yes, you cover it while it’s cooking. No butter on the toast. Egg yolks have plenty of fat, and plus, it was cooked with butter and pork renderings.

10. Another? This is from my other cooking appliance. I have only two of them, and I don’t think I will ever go back. The ease is remarkable. The cleanup facile. Air fryer. I was no stranger, having one for about my last year residing in the USA in 2019. This is my 2-bucks-per-pound pork loin. I like it as much, maybe even more now, than beef, which is 20 bucks per pound. I roasted the potatoes and garlic right along with the pork in the air fryer, and whipped up a black peppercorn sauce and did those 2 eggs on the hot plate. 15 minutes total time.

11. I’m firmly convinced that all the public hand-wringing and dire warning about AI and human extinction is marketing. I’m not just convinced. I’m certain. I know when people are lying, every time, and these people are all lying. Mark them words. In this case, it’s a damn easy lie to detect. Their actions completely belie their protestations, which is far too much. Here’s the latest. The advances are coming fast and furious (just this morning: GPT-4’s math skills just doubled…that model-4 is what members have access to here). Here’s my favorite tweet, by Andrej Karpathy: “Very clear that AGI will mega transform society but still we’ll have: ‘but is it really reasoning?’ ‘but how do you define reasoning?’ ‘it’s only predicting a next token / matrix multiply’ ‘can machines really think’ It is hard but possible to ignore. Armchair philosophy.” Kinda sums it up for me, as I observe the same dumb-bunnies saying the same stupid shit they were saying 3 months ago (including me!) and in the meantime, the thing is light years ahead in advancement since then, and rather than reassess, it’s typical intransigence—the refuge of the incurious and dishonest. Take note: I am the least intransigent person in the whole wide world.

12. Is Elon Musk’s Claim to be Defying the EU’s Censorship Code [is] an Empty Boast? Certainly, I don’t know, but the article is pretty damning, especially where in the Twitter source code, they are clearly—at the behest of the EU—censoring “misinformation” and “disinformation;” euphemisms for, amongst other things, challenges to official State doctrine and if you can’t do that, that’s as hard-core censorship as you can get. I have previously said that Elon ought to consider pulling out of the EU, then the EU can block Twitter like China does, and make it clear who the asshole fuckers are (hint: EU) and who the good guy is (hint: Elon). Another possibility occurred to me, and that would to put a WARNING!!! on tweets that have been removed per EU Censorship Guidelines. Link to some objective organization set up similar to Community Notes and provides context. That would make EU look like the asshole fuckers they are, too. And anything that exposes those fuckheads for who they are, is just lovely. Read my post yesterday on censorship.

13. This is just mind-blowing. It might interest you to know, but I’m not really much of a photo or video buff, in spite of all the photos and videos I put up. Everything I snap or shoot is set to auto. Always. I have zero interest in the geek shit, and using photo-editing stuff just bores me to tears, and I hate having to futz with it all. I also hate going out and finding images to put at the top of posts. But now I have DALL-E and Stable Diffusion integrated right on WordPress, and so I just write something, a prompt, it makes an image, and I have enjoyed playing with the serendipity of it all. I have a ton of them saved for future use.

I kept hearing about Midjourney and what a mindfuck it is. I tried to try it previously (It uses Discord, which I hate) but could not get any free server time to try it out. So yesterday I said eff it, and I popped for the 10 bucks per month (8 if you go annual). Mind. Simply. Blown. I’ve updated a few past posts with some images I prompted, and have a whole slew saved up for various usage. I’ll do a gallery for the photo section of the next Sunday Scribbles.

But then I emailed a fiend, and he emailed back even more utter unbelievable insanity. The new Adobe Photoshop with AI integration that makes it something I might use, because I hate hate hate messing with photo-editing stuff that justifies itself by being as complicated as all fuck; and so much so, unless you’re in it every damn day, you have to relearn it every time you use it. Well, AI integration has made it a cinch that even a photo-editing-ignoramus like myself could use to turn out masterpieces. Two amazing vids that are both amazing, and amazing. Here’s the first one. Here’s the second. If you have ever screwed around with a photo to change and improve anything beyond “auto adjust,” and likely made it look worse, you’ll appreciate this.

Don’t touch that dial, and stay tuned for more.

      Which ones?

Too many enemies, too little time.
